I like the style, frankly the ' class ' that The Carlyle and that the staff exude. I stayed many times at The Carlyle in the 1980's early 90s, indeed had my wedding there in 1998. This hotel was well located within walking distance of Times Sqaure and also near to the main subway and bus routes which could take you around Manhattan and the rest of New York city. Facilities were just right when you consider that we only used the hotel for rest as we were constantly outside exploring the city.

Stayed there for my birthday and was amazed as soon as I walked in the door! The level of customer service was top notch! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is swanky and done right from the artwork in the lobby to the, spa, to the rooms, to the restaurant and nightclub. It truly is a one stop shop experience. The surprise of a skating rink justblew me over! The hotel isactually indoor/ outdoor! The room are a nice size with a gorgeous bathroom. The heaters are a little loud
