Many of the hotels in this area want to charge you more for your room if you want the option to cancel if needed. The Continental Inn did not..so we went with them. We were looking for something not too expensive that had a continental breakfast. We were quite surprised to find out that our continental breakfast was actually a hot buffet!! I don't know if they have this every day...maybe just when the hotel has a lot of guests...but it was wonderful! The room was a typical hotel room. We sle.
所有评语 » There were a lot of things for us to do at the hotel - 2 swimmimg pools, a hot tub, a playground, tennis courts and a basketball court. It was also extremely close to many things we wanted to see - Dutch Wonderland, Cherry Crest Farm, Strasburg Railroad, etc. There was also a resturarant that served an excellent hot breakfast buffet over the weekends. The room had a small refridgerator as well as a coffee maker. Staff was great. Kids were happy and able to play in pool and on swing set. Rooms were great. We stay here in the summer and right before xmas every year. We love it and will continue to stay here. Look foward to staying in the upcoming spring! Thanks again. The workers were very helpful and kind, the breakfast was wonderful and the pools and hot tub and sauna were awesome! I was very skeptical looking at all the reviews but we are very glad we chose this hotel we will definitely stay there again!!. The rooms were very comfortable. The pool area was great. We had a little problem with teenagers at the pool but it was promptly taken care of. Beautiful pool,Hot tub and wading pool . Great location.Would definitely stay again. The breakfast was wonderful very morning. The staff was very friendly and the pools and whirlpool were very nice, clean and relaxing. We are planning to come back in March and plan to stay again at the continental inn. the facility is relaxing to be around, i only had one incident hwere my sheets were not clean but i was compinsated..my kids loves the pools and the cheff is great on sunday bfast..hmm nice and hot bfast.. Location is good, next door to Dutch Wonderland, cross-street to a large outlets mall, lots of restraurants around. Large backyard with children's playground and outdoor tables and chairs. Indoor pool & spa area clean. Friendly pool staff. Towels readily available. Close to shopping & sight-sound theatre, etc. Breakfast is great. Restaurant staff very pleasant. Continental Inn was a great place to stay. It was conveniently located to the Amish communities we were here to visit. The restaurant was wonderful. We will stay here when we return. We brought our grandkids with us (5 and 8). They loved the indoor pool and the hot tub (end of October), playground, game room. The breakfast included is a great benefit. Although the breakfast buffet was minimal in terms of choices (no bacon, no fruit), what they did serve was tasty. The water pressure was good. The staff was very nice. Four of us stayed this past wkend. Rooms were clean people were friendly. Loved the whirlpool. We will definitely stay there next time. The free breakfast was excellent. Cost, proximity to other attractions, and more. Did not have a pleasant experience with the person at the entrance of the restaurant. Everything else was just perfect. It's a great place for families with young children. It has a nice lawn with pool, and play areas in addition to indoor amenities. I was not aware that there was no main lobby and you had to access your room from the outside. They charged me more than the quoted rate; I didn't realized until I looked back at the original record. The room was clean. The main facility was nice but the rooms look like the last update was about 30 years ago. Price was very reasonable and location was great. Though we didn't use any of the facilities, there were a lot offered; indoor and outdoor pools, spa, tennis courts, ping pong, pool table and more. Even with some of the things we didn't like, overall it was a nice place to stay and we would go back. I didn't like the fact that there was no elevator, Elderly people have a hard time navigating stairs. I didn't think to ask for first floor so proabably my fault .The bathroom area at the pool could use a little tlc. No atm or small store on premises. one time my sheets were nasty.. Dirty room floor. We had no problems. There wasn't anything we didn't like; it would have been nice to have a small microwave in the room...but it's not a deal breaker!. The beds were not particularly comfortable, especially the pillows. The room and amenities were minimal. That said, the price was right, and next stay, I'll just bring my own pillows along. The dinner menu could of had more choices. The food was good but alittle more expensive than I thought it should be. cant say there is anything I didn't like. nothing. No bacon at the breakfast. Shower needed to be a little more clean, ceiling was falling down. For tall people the shower was small. Tv was very old too. Being on the second floor. nothing. Bathrooms could use a facelift and exhaust fans. Challenge of left turn onto main road. Consider upgrading beds. We had a king. At other places can't feel other person getting out of bed. We could at your place. Pillows were the worst ever. Bugs in the bathtub in the morning. Hardly anything...getting in and out of the bathroom was a bit cramped. Bathrooms need to be updated. It's not that I didn't like it but the room could use a little updating. The pillows were really lumpy. mattress was petty shot. Dark colored bedspreads... Prefer beds that are all made up in white. they had contractors for a electric company staying there - they started there trucks at 6am to warm up for 15 minutes - with the trucks exhaust filling my room with exhaust fumes-i felt like i was sleeping in my garage -. no negative. i liked everything. Could be more visible from the steet. Needs updated. i had blood stained covers and other brown stains on my covers. Called hotel with a question. They did not have my reservation from letsbookhotel.com. I was glad I called. The bed was quite firm - pillows as well. The A/C cycles on and off so the room temp varies. The room was spacious, though it could use some updating. Furniture was somewhat worn and bathroom tile, tub and ceiling looked old. Garbage and "butt" pails outside of room needed to be emptied and cleaned up more often. I wanted to get a fresh cup of coffee during breakfast hours in restaurant area and the hostess wouldn't let me in to get it.... she got it for me. Hotel clerk at desk was not friendly and she seemed bothered when asked for directions around facility. Hotel definetly needs updating. Dust and dirt in several areas. Only updated item was carpet. Bathroom very 70's and worn. Old building, had old musty smell, Bathroom wallpaper had mold, carpeting in room was dirty - (i cleaned a spill and the rag was black dirty when I finished). I did not know the indoor pool was not heated and a country mile walk outside to get to either.. but that was my fault I didnt realize you where an Inn. Bathroom had mold behind door and needed new tile. Having to go outside to get to the indoor pool wasn't enjoyable in the winter weather. Whirlpool wasn't working when we were there.
