  It obviously has been recently refurbished. I was very impressed with the décor. Bed was really comfy. Staff were excellent - couldn't help enough. Breakfast was very good. Very hard to find fault in this hotel. Great service-minded staff at the front desk. A big thanks to the girls at the front desk the day we arrived on 29 October 2013 and had a problem with our broken car - they solved it perfectly.

Great view of the water from the living room, plenty of beach chairs for relaxing in. When sitting on the beach, you cant hear the highway, and can really relax.   Staff were friendly, little thing - said I could park my bike under the canopy, normally hotels are anal about that. We stayed here our first night to begin the exploration of the Keys. It is a short drive of a little over 1 hour from Miami International. You can jump in the pool, explore the canal on foot and get over to the shore easily to begin to enjoy the beautiful area.

  The resort is built yards from a white sandy beach. There are plenty of staff keeping everything going. There are men with leaf-blowing machines to keep the pool area clean, chair attendants on the beach to tidy everything up, maintenance men if the shower goes wrong, and the view from the hotel window is straight out of a picture book. It was the perfect getaway, quite, fun, and relaxing. Steve the manager was very understanding and professional. Mike the Jet Ski instructor was very educated on his job and took time to answer questions. I really appreciate everything the staff did to make our stay perfect and will be back for another stay next year.

Snooks Bayside, beside the inn, has fantastic food and a great sunset view, but it is upscale dining.
