It was so relaxing after a day out to come back to a great pool. We turned up 4 hrs early to check in and they had no problem giving us the key. I was very happy and the fact there was a kitchen meant we could eat on tables around the pool for breakfast and in the evening. I fully recommend this as a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful. We arrived very early from our cruise and the manager helped us out by finding us a room that we could check into early. we really appreciated that. The location is minutes from the beach. very close to the cruise terminal.
所有评语 » the location is perfect, rooms are very clean, cozy and comfy, has everything you need. Wonderfull little place with nice friendly and helpfull staff. LOcation is good for all purposes: beach/seaside, walking around, travelling around Miami, shopping. The bed was amazing ! The room was very lovely, clean and it's size was nice. The coffee machine & micro wave in the room were a nice extra. The owner was very nice and helpful. The hotel is a small one but feels very welcoming and homy. Staff was super friendly and helpful, rooms were very spacious (especially the second time we were there) and clean, very nice colours! We always had a parking spot right in front of the hotel. It was a pleasure to stay there!. The room had apparently been recently painted and it was very fresh looking. The floors, bathroom (tub and toilet) were noticeably new and very clean.Considering the budget price the furniture and bedding was very attractive. This is an older hotel revived. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The owner was pleasant and accommodating. The courtyard was very pretty. Parking was available onsite. It was a good location for the beach. Clean bright rooms, nice pool and beautiful garden area. Easy access to beach in Fort Lauderdale. Staff very helpful and friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return to stay. I loved everything, I was part of a wedding, the other bridesmaids were staying accross the road at the Marriott Harbor and my room was much nicer and 100.00 per night cheaper. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The girl at the front desk was amazing! She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Great location and value. Loved the location and the cleanliness of the room. We also loved the coffee pot and the refrigerator - those are important to us! We will stay again. close to airport and cruise ship port; walking distance to shopping, beach, restaurants, water taxi, comfortable but inexpensive. Small table and two chairs in room would be nice to have. I dont like revealing what a gem this place is, I want to keep the Harbor Inn as my secret. No swimming after sunset and air conditioner too cold even on the lowest setting. The air was in the closet so it didn't get where it needed to be - quite light in the room from the lights outside, we personally love dark. No phone in room. Lack of Bar Round Pool. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy to find as it is very small and the taxi driver did not know it. This is not the fault of Harbor Beach Inn, but of the circumstances. Staff was basically non-existent. Fresh towels daily but no other housekeeping. Pool water was too cold but it was too cold on our cruise ship too so it wasn't just you :). Hotel manager not in all the time but having said that would respond immediately to phoning him and come. They tried to clean pool Sunday mid day but asked staff and they fixed and we swam. Nothing. Nothing. The wall next to the a/c was molded and needed painted. none. no breakfast option. outside lights shining through window. The A/C window unit was in the closet. It did not keep the room as cool as I would have liked. Also, the A/C unit was VERY noisy and did not allow for a full night's sleep. Also - would have liked a full length mirror in the room. The bathroom mirror was set too high to see much of myself. Front desk only open for limited times. Hair from previous occupants in bath. Noise from street outside. Kitchenette is a joke (no stove, no pans or pots, only a fridge and a microwave and some plates). Very basic, more like a motel. too slim wall / easily can hear neighboards. no breakfast option. Sound of traffic. Not enforcing pool hours. A family was in the pool at 530am, laughing and yelling and splashing. Not a pleasant wake up call. Quality of this $122 a- night room worth $70 anywhere else.
