  Hotel Macomber was just darling! We booked last minute & didn't really know what to expect. The room was quaint, yet adorable and romantic. We weren't expecting to see the ocean - as we didn't request a room with a view, but you could see the ocean from our bathroom & bedroom. The staff members were really sweet & helpful! Took about 15 minutes to get to the Cape May Zoo & about 5 minutes - My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The owner was very friendly with my daughter who is special. In my book that means everything to me. The hotel was clean and the staff were very accommodating. It was steps away from the beach.I would recommend staying at the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel has the best food in Cape May. The local wine was good too.

  The pool was great, with a lovely waterfall, and the kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities were very clean.The staff was so nice, attentive and friendly, that I would probably return again.   We loved the lay out of the hotel and the fact that everything was easy to get to. The staff was extremely accomodating to whatever we needed. The restaurant Hemmingways was also a great place to eat and offered breakfast and dinner deals. Haley our waitress and Luke our greater at the door were an extra special touch. Love these people. - The apartment suite in which we stayed fully fit what we were looking for. It was comfortable, well equipped, quite clean and sufficiently spacious. I would not say it was fancy, but it was pretty darn good for the cost, coming with a full kitchen, reasonably comfortable beds, and a decent-sized and furnished living room. The section of beach across the street was quite fine for spending the day. Also, the staff were all super friendly and helpful!

  The Palace Hotel is very clean, quiet, and the staff is very friendly and courteous. The location is excellent - with the ocean in view from every room. This was my second stay at the Palace, and I would return again.   Loved the idea that you didn't need to drag all your beach stuff down to the beach; all you had to do was show your room key and they set you up with a covered chaise lounge, extra towel & umbrella.
