We enjoy visiting Cape May very much! On every visit, we have stayed at the Periwinkle Inn. We will not stay anywhere but the Periwinkle Inn. We appreciate how very clean it is!! The staff is friendly. It is at a great location! We enjoy the outdoors at the Periwinkle - the pool, grass area, balcony, etc. If we were to return to Cape May, we would stay at the Periwinkle Inn again. The rooms were spotless and the kitchen stocked with the essentials. The grounds were impeccably clean and well maintained. The staff were visible and took care in the day to day running of the Inn. I appreciated that towels were available in the room for use at the pool or to put on the lounge chairs outside the room.
所有评语 » We were driving up on a holiday weekend. The staff stayed late so that a bunch of people would be able to check in late. In addition, they were so helpful with recommendations of places to go and places to eat. I am going to recommend this place to friends and family and hope to make it back soon. I liked the location to beach and convenience to take trolley into heart of town. It was staffed very well which meant that rooms were cleaned daily and grounds were kept clean. Very clean, friendly, comfortable and conveniently located to the beach, shopping, and activities. We visit each summer and always enjoy our stay!. The hotel is cute - not too big. I liked having a balcony. Rooms are spacious enough Had a pool location - across from beach. rooms where just re-done,new furniture,new bathroom,new carpet,drapes.flat screen tv,refrig,coffee pot. Very quiet. Very close to the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly. Room was nice and clean. The staff was exceptional and provided not only outstanding service, but also information about the local area. Location. Being right across the street from the beach, and in walking distance of lots of great restaurants. We stay at the inn every time we are in Cape May. Atmosphere is laid-back, friendly. Very close to beach. nice clean rooms, pleasant staff, across from the beach and close enough to walk into town. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful, flowers, landscaping. Very clean. Lovely bedding. I love that everything is freshly painted and new. The room smelled great and very clean. Reception addressed all concerns in a helpful manner. Great way to start a stay. Location can't be beat. Location Size. I honestly cannot think of anything that we did not like. My only recommendation would be to add a full length mirror somewhere in the room, perhaps on the back of the bedroom or bathroom door. In kitchenette, a light above would be helpful. Tv in room was too low to floor - should be mounted on wall or on a higher piece of furniture. Had under the bed storage for clothing - I like a dresser better. Not enough surface area to put things. rooms are very poorly lit, 1 light in bedroom, 1 light in hallway. no mirrors except for med cab in bath. 1 night stand, no clock radio, no toaster.A little pricey for a older motel. No internet service. No newspapers or machines. Only accepted cash or travelers checks. We lost out on quite a few rewards points not using the credit card. And having to make numerous trips to an ATM prior to the trip to have enough to check in is not optimal. There was nothing we didn't like. There were not enough washcloths in our room, we were without one washcloth as there were no more available! Unable to read the paper with tv channels as the ink was yellow. Both easy fixes for $350/night! No attention to detail in this regard. none. Limited channels on TV. Wifi kept going in and out. Also, there should be more than 1 person at the desk during check in time. n/a. Hotel was too expensive for what you received. And they were very stingy with soap, etc. Also, you had to pay with cash or a traveler's check. Who uses traveler's checks in this day and age? Why did I have to give my credit card number if they don't take credit cards?. bathroom was small. No hair dryer in room or Iron. No laundry bag. Mattress too soft. Very noisy air conditioner and temp would not go below 74F. No screen door to the outside pool. Wake up call not available until they checked with someone and tow hours later it was available. We enjoyed everything. Snobbish office staff, no iron or ironing board, no full length mirror, jacuzzi, pool closed. Very slow internet access and poor (unhelpful) customer service. No refrig for 1st day and electricity blew 2nd day, prompt repair, but still... No mirrors except the small one in bathroom, so for 2 people getting ready to go out, it was inconvenient. Staff consisted of older women's that were not very accommodating and down right rude at times. Room didn't include a full length mirror, iron, cable guide, alarm clock, suitcase stand. Extra Bed/couch was awkward - not sure what it was for. Fridg didn't work, maid didn't clean dishes or give us more beach towels. A bit pricy compared with other inns in Cape May.
