  A completely awesome experience. The room was enormous, with a huge bathroom. There is also a theater room (great for watching football games), multiple lounges, and an incredible reading nook on the third floor. The nightly rate might appear expensive, but this is actually a good value. - Superb accommodations and a lovely edifice!

  My husband and I really had a great time at Mira Monte and would for sure go back if we visit bar harbor again which I hope will be sooner than later. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was super yummy, and we really loved our room. What I also liked about Mira Monte was if you wanted you could mingle with other guests or you could have you priv - The Victorian flavor of the house is perfect, right down to the antiques and decorations, our bathroom was updated and the little porch off the room was a nice surprise, as was the gas fireplace! The owner held a wine & cheese gathering before we left for dinner each night and entertained us with stories about the town and its history. Breakfast buffet was incredible with so many choices, including gluten free items! The walk to town was so close too. We loved it!

  Our room was large, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. Lovely bathroom also. We enjoyed having our own table at breakfast and not having to make small talk with strangers early in the morning. The cocktail hour provided an opportunity to meet others if one so desired.   I have stayed at Anne's White Columnns many times. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!! Bob, is a wonderful host and Anne is an amazing cook!!! We thoroughly enjoyed Dylan this year and Andie took great care of us too. In a brief summary..."a relaxing treasure." See you next year... God willing. :) - We appreciate the design of the inn both regarding the living spaces and the bedroom. The heritage of the "good old day" is clear as well as the good taste of the owners Bob and Ann. We required a special meal for breakfasr given my intolerance to gluten and Bob prepared us personalized meals with no extra charge. Good place to relax, also very close to Bar Harbor downtown and the bus stop to Acadia National Park. HIghly recommended.

  Great service, gourmet breakfast, great location, steps away from downtown and yet quiet, very cordial staff and owners are excellent people. The yellow house was very accommodating. - The room was roomy and well appointed as was the bathroom. The staff is friendly and welcoming. AC was awsome. Bed was comfortable.
