The convenient location. We can check in and then we don't have to drive anywhere else while we're in town. It's just across the street from performances at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts and great restaurants, and close to any shopping we want to do. In addition, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Great rooms and comfortable beds. Nice view of downtown Anchorage and Cook Inlet from my 12th floor balcony. The staff is courteous and EXTREMELY helpful. Very clean and convenient location for downtown cuisine and nightlife.

The location was good. Things were clean but a bit dated. There was places to print airplane tickets. Safe feeling. Paid parking was offered. The staff was kind. Staff was very friendly and very helpful had a good stay. The blower on the heater in the room was noisy and kinda annoying. Overall it was a good night stay. The assessability to the downtown area. Also the quietness within the facility. It will be a recommendation by me to anyone staying within the city. The location was fabulous for the Fur Rondy festivities. Our room location had the view of the races, parade and the fireworks. Thank you. The cost, the very friendly staff, the comfort of the room and the nearness to great restaurants and the performing arts center. We will definitely stay here again. I was charged extra for children because the website would let me add them when I booked the room. Need to fix blower in room on heater. You definately NEED a parking lot for your guests!!!! It was a pain to have to park at the sixth avenue parking garage. Liked it all. rain leaked around sliding door and rug was extremely wet. Hotel was older and I feel we overpaid for what we got. Rooms are older and dated. Paid for balcony to look at a wall. Pictures fooled me. Gave us the worst location in the hotel even though the hotel did not seem busy. 2 floor overlooking parking lot. I believe it was because we booked with a lower rate off letsbookhotel.com. Was not granted a late check out. People not staying in hotel taking up hotel reserved spots to dine at Glacier Brewhouse. House keeping came too early. The room was from the 70s, tv from the 90s. Front desk clerk was a little rude. Had to ask 4 different times to get a crib up to the room. Bathroom had no fan. rooms were dated - need rehab. Wanted king bed, but got a room with 2 doubles. Hotel was full due to a large tour company staying there. Dated a but but cjean. Lack of parking. As I was only on an overnight trip, I didn't bring shampoo, conditioner, hand/body lotion as I expected the hotel would provide those items but unfortunately, they did not. Ask for a king, paid for a king got two tiny beds. No flat tv they lied. Noisy rooms No guest laundry. They tried to charge me more than my letsbookhotel.com reservation. If I hadn't had a copy of the letsbookhotel.com confirmation, they would have. They acted like I was making things up until I produced the hardcopy. No laundry facilities, burly surly staff. Curtains need to lap over during the summer - too much light getting into the room. No fridge or microwave - these facilities would have been useful. Room had poor view. The heater blew right in the face of the person trying to sleep in bed closes to the window. No complaints. Parking too far away in garage, beds small and uncomfortable, Room was dusty, Maid didn't attempt to clean broken coffee maker or replace it. Restaurant was closed Sunday night. We requested a roll-away bed and it was unuseable. Two employees were fighting at the front desk when we checked out. Rooms need to be upgraded. aged. Old, tired property. Holes in the sheets. Very low quality toiletries . Just very unpleasant. We reserved a room with a king size bed and were instead given a room with two VERY uncomfortable double beds. My husband and I were in Anchorage to celebrate our anniversary....not the way we envisioned sleeping. The check in staff was incredibly rude during check in and the hotel desperately needs to be renovated. too old should be updated very uncomfortable bed.
