Close to many good dinner places. The room was clean. This place is good if you need a quick place to sleep close San Francisco. Hotels in the City charge up to $50/day to park. Parking at La Quinta was free and I enjoyed the hassle free ride on Bart.

There is a fridge, microwave, cable flat screen tv. Even though it's old, it has been nicely kept up and looks charming in an old California style.   It's near Downtown Berkeley Bart station, so it's quite convenient. The breakfast, though lack in varieties, served its purpose. The staff was Ok. - Liked it all. Very convenient to places we needed to go to. Whenever we went out and came back it was like returning home.

  Very nice room for the price. Friendly cleaning staff. They even made an extra stop to make sure I was completely happy with my room. Nice! - This place was clean and comfortable. I will definitely consider it again when visiting.
