  Both my son and I had a wonderful stay at The Robert Treat Hotel. I use to live in Newark many years ago and have been in Florida for over 20 years so it was absolutely fantastic to stay at this hotel which i knew of since I was a little girl.   This hotel is situated in New Jersey, but a really nice, quiet stay when visiting New York. Our well appointed room was on the 9th floor. A fair size with big double bed, clean bathroom, desk and fridge it was very comfortable. We slept witheet window open and had no problems with noise.
