We had the suite that looked out on the square and it was perfect. Comfortable bed, pull out sofa bed for extra people. The apartment is renovated but still has the old characteristics like a crooked floor and double windows. We arrived early in the am on the train and they let us leave all our bags in the office until we could get into our room; when we left the room wasn't booked for that night so they let us take it for a half day for a little over half the cost - a bargain and we were so ha.
所有评语 » Location is superb! You cannot ask for a better place to stay. Right on the main square, next door to famous Kryivka restaurant. Nice design of the room, attentive staff, free water and tea. They also let us leave the baggage at the hotel for almost the whole day (we had a late train). Расположение превосходное! Лучше придумать сложно. Соседняя дверь - вход в знаменитую Крыивку. Airy, spacious room (no. 4) with comfortable Queen-sized bed and writing/sitting area in addition to the bedroom area overlooking the patio (not "garden") in back. Good wi-fi service. English speaking staff (and free water from bottled source) available in reception room at all times. Construction noise (they are adding six rooms on the third floor, above the current six rooms on the second floor) in the afternoon and evening, but it was not constan. The location is excellent, at the main square, close to many restaurants, sights, tramway stop is near the entrance. The hostel is superb clean, comfortable, with big bed and clean bathroom in every room. Luckily our windows were on the quiet side of the building. We also could accommodate a bit earlier thanks to the kindness of young and friendly staff. Recommended. The location is great! You'll be right in the heart of Lviv a walk away from the main museums, bars and restaurants. The window view is excellent: a historical building of a city council. The rooms are clean and nice, the stuff is super nice and helpful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent - - across from the Lviv City Hall and within easy walking distance of all of the major sites. Many restaurants and stores were within a 5 minute walk. Room was very clean. Best location ever, wonderful personal. Free tea/coffee/cups, big and clean room. A bit noisy at nights (cause' it's central square), but you wont really notice it. We really enjoyed out stay here and will be happy to come again. The welcoming atmosphere, the sense of belonging in a historic environment, lots of eateries next door with absolutely delicious local specialities, cleanliness, dignity, unbeatable opera in the Opera house a 7-minute walk away. Loved everything. Very present and helpful staff, in the center of the heart of the city, beautiful view, great design and amazingly clean. The costs is ridiculously low. Everything is perfect: the location directly on the market square, bright and cozy room, friendly girls at the reception, ready to tell about sights and restaurants of the city. The accomodation was basic but perfectly adequate(considering the price) and very clean. The receptionist(?Halyna) was extremely helpful and pleasant. Excellent location. The place is in a very central location - on weekend nights it can get really busy and there is an accordion player who favours a nearby doorway. If you're looking for total quiet, it might not be the spot for you but we found that by 10/11pm the street noise was fine for sleeping. However they also have rooms that face the inner courtyard - if you're an early sleeper you might ask for one of those. The bathroom is really tiny. It's perfectly ok for 1-2 days stay though, if you don't have a lot of cosmetics, shampoos etc. Also, at least a small shelf for shampoo, razor etc in the shower cabin would be great. Centuries old stairs from ground floor to first floor are quite worn and thus uneven and so one must be careful. Stairs from second to third floor (when it will be opened) are much better. The common area room is rather small and there is no 'public' bathroom to use. There were some renovation works in the building. There was no fridge, but we could live without that since we have only stayed there two nights. The shower was a bit small. It's on the 2nd floor without an elevator but staff arranged for someone to carry our heavy bags and arrange for taxi on departure. Have a few recommendations for places to have a nice breakfast. The enterance of the questhosue is required restoration. Strange the handbasin is so small when the bathroom is quite large! It can be noisy from the market square especially in the summer, but this is the price to pay if you want to leave on the market square. The breakfast is not served. Although this is compensated by the small cafe nextdoor to the hotel. There is no minibar in room. No fridge, we would have liked 2 more pillows. Thin walls. Staff uses only Ukrainian language first day, then next day I recognise that they can speak Russian fluently.. Ok, if u understand Ukrainian..Wi Fi is in some areas, not in the rooms. Slightly noisy but ear plugs solves that problem. - noises from the corridor - lack of really hot water, it was just tepid - a little too cold and small heater. (Suggestions only) Too much light coming through curtains at night from Square. Bed was sloping backwards. Our room opened straight into office. The muncipal staircase. Nothing. The hotel is situated at the 2nd and 3d floor of the building with no elevator. It is also in the heart of the square, a pedestrian zone, so you can't get there by taxi, you have to walk about 300m. It can be annoying having a suitcase. a little bit small rooms. Noise from outside during the night.
