The Location of the hotel was only a 10 minute walk but after a few points and a walk around the town a taxi will cost you £5. Although Tony was a bit quite his assistant was very chatty and you could have a good banter with her As for the town it self there was Plenty of pubs and restaurants but as our visit was over the weekend there was a lot of hen and stag party’s going on so a number of places required booking. Plenty of places to visit unable to cover them all but The market and the tr.
所有评语 » I stayed at the York Lodge for two nights. Didn't really know what to expect after reading some of the reviews but I found it very comfortable. Just check in and then you can come and go, there's no reception or leaving your keys. Comfortable room and bed, generous supply of tea, coffee, etc, and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. Easy to find with free off street parking,very close to the Town and all the attractions.The room was clean and tidy, great shower and the fan in the room was welcomed due to the hot weather.Great breakfastwas pipping hot, well cooked and served with a smile. room was reasonable, with plenty of extras, tea, coffee, biscuits, sweets, toilet, shower, free view tv, fan. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice, staff were excellent,10 minute walk to York centre. the guy who seemed to own the b&b was a bit of a grump.the the girls who ran the kitchen and cleaned the rooms were great.very friendly. a good walk into the city center . Pleasant. Our room was very clean and quiet and the beds comfortable. Our host provided a permit for on-street parking. The guesthouse was about close to the historical center of York. Breakfast room was rather too small to seat all guests during the narrow 1-hr window allowed for breakfast when the property was fully occupied. Nothing negative. nothing. Unfortunately I had some noisey neighbours and it was only a partition wall so second nights sleep was interrupted. Nothing. Shower tended to be a bit temperamental and when it did work properly (temperature wise) it could have been more powerful. location, a little bit far from town centre if you go on foot. Nothing except perhaps noisy guests coming in late. Location. Nothing. quite a long walk from station and back into town. Decor a little bit dated but functional. Could do with a bit of paint and repair here and there. Very difficult to fill kettle from bathroom tap. Mirror in bedroom too high for the average person. Difficult to do hair as hairdryer couldn't reach. Shower door a bit wobbly. Proprietor not very welcoming, but then I was only there for 9 hours. Room smelled smokey and TV didn't work properly. Nothing!. Nothing. If I were to be picky I would say that, although the room was sufficient for my needs, it was very small. n/a. Mould in the shower. nothing to dislike. The dining room was small and our table was 'crammed' in the corner of the room, very little space. there was nothing to dislike. It was clean, basic but very comfy. nothing.no complaints.
