Fantastic Value for money. The rooms were huge and so was the bed. All modern fittings with speakers in bathrooms. Breakfast was exellent with a wide choice and all the staff seemed to genuinly enjoy their jobs which rubbed off on the atmosphere. I will deffinatly return!. This hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard. As it was a nice sunny evening we were able sit out in the lovely terrace garden area. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was excellent. This is a gem of a place close to Troon with well trained staff.
所有评语 » On arriving the gentleman at reception waz extremely welcoming! Hotel was immaculate, food delicious and all staff went the extra mile to ensure stay was a happy one, even the cleaners! Will definately be back soon as great location for sight seeing. Very friendly and helpful staff especially in the dining room.In particular Neil-- he will go far! Our room was exceedingly comfortable. Sorry we were there just for one night.We have expressed our delight in Loans Inn to all our friends . the hotel was spotless and the stafff very friendly.we enjoyed our stay very much and have booked again in a few weeks time.very good food and cosy ambience.cannot fault the cleanliness of this place as i have already mentioned. The hotel is extremely comfortable. The room and facilities were excellent. The breakfast was excellent too. Large, easily accessible car park. This is an amazing value for money and I would certainly use this hotel again. The quality of food was excellent as was the choice. The rooms were of a very high standard indeed and we loved the apples and water in the room. I actually went with my sister and we were given twin beds as requested on line. We were allocated a mini suite which was a lovely surprise and very comfortable. The food in the evening was lovely and breakfast freshly cooked to order. This was our second visit and we shall definitely be back.. An excellent stop over for us on our way to visit the Western Isles. Very comfortable and welcoming and excellent food selection All the staff were helpful but particular compliments to Neil in the restaurant. The staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well-furnished. Excellent cooked breakfast with a large choice of items on the menu. Terrific Staff that was most helpful and professional with great attitudes. Very clean facility and accomodations and centrally located in Troon area for all courses! Excellent food and program. Like every thing about this hotel.We have been a few times,and it is always so clean,and well maintainted,the decor is always fresh looking.And it has a nice buzz about it,for all ages. The single room I booked turned out to be a huge, very comfortable, modern room with a king size bed. Breakfast was excellent. Had a very nice meal in the evening,. Everything was excellent; - big rooms, - nice bathroom, - comfy, big bed, - coffee/tea/healthy water in the room, - kind, calm atmosphere, - bar opened 24hr. Style and layout. Staff (Val, Neil and breakfast waiter in particular) excellent ambassadors for the hotel. Excellent menu choices and quality food. Friendliness of staff was excellent. Food was excellent. The room was one of the best we have stayed at. Recommended by my son and he was spot on. It was very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and went out of way to make sure of our comfort. Food very nice when we wanted a large meal. The high standard of renovation. The upgrade to the hotel is first class. The Hotel was very clean and bright, out of the busyness of Troon but easy access. I would definetly go back to this hotel. Nothing - although we stayed just one night for convenience to the Port of Troon, we will return here for a longer break in future. Can't think of anything I didn't like at all.... There was not a thing!. we ordered breakfast service for the room which was lovely and a nice treat for us.however no orange juice arrived on the second morning and we had to ask for sauce to be delivered also.a little let down on service that morning.£7.50 for the tray is rather steep in price.all in all though we really enjoyed our stay.it was a very relaxing break for my partner and myself. Nothing. As in most hotels we had "packet" milk in the rooms which I hate! In a lovely country house hotel in the Lake District fresh milk in a small flask is left in the rooms which is lovely. Not really a criticism -more a suggestion !. Nothing. The hotel is advertised as being in Troon but is in fact in Loans about 2 miles away. The address should read Main Street, Loans. Nothing not to like. Nothing to dislike at all. Would have given excellent for comfort, but the place was a bit too warm. My room would have benefited from air conditioning. Not applicable. Our room was far too hot, even with the radiator off and the window open all night. We had a room at the front of the hotel and this was very hot due to it having a coombed ceiling. There was a fan in the room which helped the situation a little. For some bizarre reason they have piped music in the corridors with speakers outside the rooms !! When I asked for this to be turned down so that we could rest the gentleman at the reception was reluctant to do this. I said that in all the hotels in the World I never had music playing outside my room !! Not much difference after my request so quite disappointed in failure to help me the guest. Troon isn't terribly exciting, but this Inn makes it a good place to break the journey. Just 1 wee negative; - music on corridor but the rest was fantastic, Im sure It wasnt last visit in Old Loans Inn :). Tv cables showing underneath the tv, spoiling the look of the whole room. Should be addressed as being in Loans - not as Troon as stated in letsbookhotel.com (needed to use the SatNav). No Sky sports in the room or in the bar. Could have had a more lighter choice menu, as we did not always want a large meal,so ate out locally and only had two meals in the hotel. Sorry, we can't find fault with our stay(s). The only thing we didn't like was that the address is down as being Troon but its actually in Loans its a wee bit misleading. Nothing, will be staying there again. The bed in our room on this occasion was uncomfortable. Nothing. Coffee and milk not replenshed in room. Nothing. Can't think of any negatives. acres of well set-out terraces etc in which no drinks were allowed after 10.00pm no matter how quiet guests are- puzzling . Traffic noise was noticable in the rooms which face onto the main street. Nothing.
