We stayed in the townhouse which was lovely - very confortable bed / excellent shower with toiletries and robes incl. Breakfast menu varied and eggs benedict was divine. The main hotel was from what we saw looked seeped in history / the staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much bother for any of them, very comendable. Stayed in the town house just across the street from the main building. The room was very comfortable - great shower. Stayed in two rooms during our stay and both are very clean and modern. Service and staff are attentive and great breakfast and convenient. Would recommend to anyone staying in Swansea area.
所有评语 » The stars of this hotel were the efficient friendly helpful smiling staff who were very welcoming. Next, the efficiency at dealing with issues. We reported the lift not working on the way to breakfast and by the time we went back it was sorted. A thoroughly lovely stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, but always professional. A highlight for me was laverbread and bacon for breakfast - first time for over 40 years. Very comfortable and ideally situated for the city centre. We loved the decor, the molton brown shower gel and the bathrobes. The main hotel itself is very well decorated throughout and the staff were all really friendly. It's very handy for the centre of Swansea. Fabulous room in main building Décor was tasteful and understated Evening meal was delicious, reasonable value and the waiters were courteous and helpful. Really good location, close to shopping, movies, restaurants in the city centre as well as the easy access (walking distance) to the harbour. Morgans is everything a hotel should be. Interesting architecture, excellent service, good value, etc. Definitely not a nasty modern box. Breakfast was fantastic, had the traditional and everything on the plate was not only well presented but tasted out of this world. The room in the townhouse (separate from the main hotel). The food and service in the restaurant. The convenient location. Use of an old building that's got bags of character and conversion of public spaces has been completed very well. I stay in hotels all over the world but never stayed in one as nice as this. Loved it an cant wait to go back. The atmosphere, the decor,room names, the bar,the selection of ports, the Welsh breakfast the orchid in room. Access to town centre with equal access to marina, mumbles sea front. Avail of fre bicycle use from hotel. The staff were incredible... From Selina in reception, Paul the porter to the guys serving at breakfast. Excellent customer service, greeted by friendly staff and a helpful hotel porter. Hotel was immaculate. The room was very comfortable, the standard of the bathroom excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location, Parking, breakfast(very good but only one muffin with the eggs benidict?). Tried them all. Everything about Morgans is outstanding.We will be returning soon .Thank you for a memorable stay. the staff were very friendly and the room was lovely and so were the meal we had whilst we stayed. Stunning room, friendly staff,quality breakfast. Always lovely comfy beds and quiet rooms. best breakfast. comfortable bed and linen. well appointed rooms and really comfy bed. The only downside was the roadworks right outside the hotel - but it is vital to enhance the road/pedestrian area so cant be helped. Lots more tea bags would be nice!!!. I really cannot think of anything I did not like, but for one night I did not exercise all the facilities. Could have done with a pair of slippers as because it was cold outside feet felt cold on the wooden floors but really that is just me being picky. Our room was opposite the main street in Swansea and we experienced noise from outside until the early hours. Due to heavy road work right outside the hotel, the signings to the hotels were not enough to find easily fin the hotel. Noise from other rooms and traffic outside of room, meant did not get enough rest. Townhouse room we uccupied, though spacious and well appointed had a very small wardrobe and sound insulation was poor with noise from adjacent room TV and footfall on floor of room above was a little disrurbing, especially in middle of the night. Seagulls made a mess of my car roof in car park. Lighting in bed rooms is terrible the owner may not like bright lights here but guests should be allowed to read in bed !!. We stayed in townhouse opp hotel, door to room very heavy like a fire door. only issue was the pillows-too soft :). The wooden floors made the rooms noisy as the floorboards squeaked. Pillows in the room too soft-like a crisp packet, no good for my neck. Only one pack of biscuits? Come on, there where 2 of us in the room. Shower water went every where. All it needs (according to the wife) is a good clean in the shower head. The one thing I didnt like was seeing a fire extinguisher holding open a fire door - Side entrance to main building. Cant you tell I work in the H&S sector. the only thing which spoilt it was we had water pouring through the ceiling from the room above on 2 occassions. Bed was very hard, although made slightly better with mattress topper fitted. What's not to like?. Nothing. Only a minor gripe, but the air conditioning was not working efficiently, it did not warm the room on a cool evening. We stayed in the townhouse which was very noisey as the rooms have wooden floorboards ..although more expensive would next time opt for the main building. Initial problems in breakfast requests from me that were not fulfilled until i complained Lack of storage for clothes. reception area a bit vague and restaurant nearly empty!. the staff in the bar were very slow and looked confused at times into serving certain wines the breakfast was good but the plates were cold. No easy chair in a bedroom designed for 2 people. The bar was very rowdy and messy so much so that we ordered drinks but took them back to our room. We were kept awake my guest in room above us, though this is not fault of the hotel. No complaints at all. The hotel is very tired looking , please get rid of the scruffy old leather sofas in the main lounge area!!. Nothing really. Nothing. Nothing. Breakfast tasted like it had been cooked hours ago and kept warm. Terrible noise from roadworks surrounding the building...guests MUST be warned before booking!!!!!!!. All good. Wasn't told about the ecard offer so I lost out there. A member of staff told me as we were leaving. no mirror on wall in bedroom to dry hair. no hook on back of bathroom door for dressing gown.
