Lovely quiet location set in the countryside, yet still close to Stratford-upon-Avon. The host, Alan Bailey, was friendly and very helpful. I left something in our room and he came and found me at a tourist attraction he had recommended to give it to me, which was kind. The twin room we were given at the front of the house was beautiful with nice en suite bathroom. There were tranquil views of garden and fields from all the windows of fields and sometimes horses passing along the lane. I don't . 所有 评语 »
We liked everything. We had a lovely 20 mins walk from Wilmcote train station to get there.. the landscapes in the area are very relaxing. Alan welcomed us and we had a very peaceful and quiet night, with avery good wifi internet connection which was helpful to check some business emails. The breakfast was very good.. and we the second day we had another nice walk to the town to see the shakespeares housesvin stratford.. overall, an amazing weekend!.
We love the quiet location and homely feel of Larkrise Cottage B&B. We had a nice comfortable double bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom. Alan the owner was particularly helpful, providing us with all the necessary information for us to make the most of our short stay in the area. He also cooks a great breakfast. We will definitely stay at Larkrise again when we are in the area.
Excellent location. Allan is a most welcoming and personable host with a great knowledge of the area and its past. The facility is extremely clean,very well appointed and situated in a more rural area just outside of Stratford. There are local restaurants nearby which can be walked to or are a very short drive to get to. Stratford itself is only a 5 minute drive. Highly recommended.
The owner was amazing with his multi skills of good cooking, cleanliness and points of interest.The accomadation was in a good position to visit all neighbouring areas and plenty of very good eating places near by. we really enjoyed our stay there and are looking forward to returning back there next year. larkrise cottage is truly a fantastic place to stay with no disappointments.
Alan was one out of the bag, friendly,approachable, willing at all times to give usefull advice, without doubt one of our best stays since leaving our home country New Zealand for a long holiday. Will highly recommend to all. Many thanks. Grant and Jenny.
It was just about the best B&B we have used. It was very clean, good
drinks facilities (even to the point of an offer of fresh milk - and the
owner actually put our own milk that we'd brought in the fridge for
us when we left it out.
We were made to feel very much at home from the moment of arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The room was pleasant, the beds soft, and the breakfasts delicious. All we could ask for - and at a very reasonable price.
Allan was the ultimate host. Friendly. On arrival he greeted like you we're family. Happily shared his knowledge about local attractions. He really made you feel the you'd picked the right B & B. Excellent!.
Alan gave excellent advice about places to eat ,places to see parking .The atmosphere was friendly,decor delightful and wewillbe back.There is lots to see ad do locally.High standard of breakfast well presented.

Comfortable room with clean white bedding and towels, sky TV, excellent coffee and tea making facitlies, toiletries in the bathroom, hairdryer and beautifully laid out breakfast in the morning.
Peace and quiet. Friendliness of greeting and then being left alone to enjoy ourselves. Views over the valley toward Stratford. Food was excellent and abundant.
