We were in a disabled access room which was spacious and comfortable. Staff (with one minor exception) were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Happily provided us with a lighter duvet. Breakfasts were good, dinner menu looked good and reasonable value for money though we didn't try it. Handily situated for m6 access. Very good value through letsbookhotel.com (£53 per night including breakfast). Overall very impressed.
所有评语 » This was a last minute booking and normally stay clear of the travel lodge style of hotel, but this was booked solely on convenience for 1 night. We were really surprised at the modern design, quality of the room and sound proofing. Everything was as luxurious as some 5 Star hotels & an exceptionally comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and fresh. I really cannot fault our stay. Everything about the Hotel was spot on. From the service we received at reception as soon as we arrived, to the breakfast the following morning. The room was so roomy, the bathroom, luxurious and the bed so comfy. The breakfast was plentiful and a great selection. Very very impressed with this Hotel, thank you for a great stay at an excellent price!. Very clean and spacious. Loved the shower. staff very helpful in giving directions and other enquiries. Had misplaced an item when returned home and rang hotel. Staff went straight to room and found item. Was posted to me and arrived safe. Would like to thank everyone for a pleasurable stay and I would recommend Holiday Inn to friends. I stayed here for two nights and everything about this hotel is superb. The rooms are big, very clean and modern. bathroom and shower is pretty big to. Breakfast is excellent with alot of choice and most important is the staff who are amazing. I will recommend anyone to stay here.. 5 star service and 5 star quality hotel. Exceeded all expectations. Only stopped here as it was on route for our lands end to John o groats bike ride. The hotel is brand new and spotless. Everything is well designed and works! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, something you don't always expect in a big chain of express hotels! A fab stopover. The hotel was very clean, fresh and staff very friendly and efficient. My room was very clean including great shower. Breakfast was included which was a great surprise at the price I paid. Meals are availble and are cooked fresh to order and are of a good standard andvery well priced. Would definately recommend. This hotel is gleaming clean stayed at 4 different hotels over 4 nights this was by far the best hotel i have stayed in itvhas only just turned 1 year old.stay here !!oh breakfast is sausage beans scram egg cereal toast yoghurts friut cheese tea coffee machine lots of psstries.very ample to fill you . An excellent stop over hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The bar/lounge area was impressive and the rooms a good size. The breakfast was pretty disappointing with a limited choice and luke warm buffet. We would recommend this hotel as a half way stop between London and Scotland. Ideal location, very close to motorway, great spot for an overnight stay before moving on, for us at least, would happily stay longer. We were in the area having taken an elderly relative to stay with family, we picked the hotel at short notice. It was bright, clean and friendly, the evening food was good valve and the breakfast buffet excellent. We were very surprised by the quality of the food. Hotel fairly new so everything was in very good order. Hotel functions very well for a business stop over, no frills or fancies. Bedroom size are large and spacious. The Showers are fantastic, Top marks for a hairdryer actually being located next to a mirror!. Large room with disabled facilies (as requested), good wet room and comfortable bed. Restaurant and bar resonably priced. Good variety breakfast was included in price. Nicely landscaped, excellent for my dogs. Pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. Air conditioned room which was spacious, clean and had 2 chairs.....it was more relaxing and comfortable to have a chair each...not standard in budget accomodation! All facilities in room and bathroom were good. Great welcome by the staff. Packed breakfast as we were leaving very early was much appreciated and very attentive. Clean room and nice dinner. Thank you for keeping the kitchen open. Would recommend to anyone, and I have stayed in many many hotels. I can only say that I have stayed in lots of hotels over the years and my stay with you was the best all round I have been in in a long time,I have already Recommend to lots of people I will now make it my preston home for future trips. The rooms were amazing. They were clean and customer focused. The bed was comfy and facilities were great. I was worried about the cot that would be provided for us but it was immaculate. Highly recommend!! Breakfast was fabulous also. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice! Being just off the motorway, it was a perfect location for a stopover during our drive from Scotland to London. All in all, a great value for money. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Access from and to the M6 was ideal for my needs. I will definitly use the hotel again if I get the price again. No need to look futher for a place to break my journey. Excellent customer service. The staff have clearly received superb training and take pride in their jobs. Cleanliness to the finest detail and well prepared rooms. The huge shower is great, much better than a shower above a bath. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean,the bath rooms were emaculate and the out door seating area was just right. The staff were very helpfully the whole time we were their,we hired three rooms and they were all of the same standed. Virtually everything. The staff were absolutely superb and although the menu was limited the food was excellent. Friendly efficient quick check-in and out Comfortable spacious rooms close to Cuerden valley nature park. the price was fantastic, the staff very helpful and lots of space, was ideally situated for us as we went to Accrington on the Friday and the lake district Saturday day time followed by preston in the evening. Well appointed room with luggage rack and plenty of outlets, including by the beds. Also had lots of storage shelves. New facility, fresh and clean, and enough space in the room. Loved that there was a lift. Cleanliness, design, room size & layout, comfort of bed, bar, breakfast choice & quality. staff attitude, quiet at night. The best hotel of this type that we have used. We will return to this hotel. The position of the preston H I was just what we wanted near to town & country really good for the touring weekend we had organised. Staff all really friendly and helpful, hotel clean and comfortable. Great value for an overnight stay whilst driving from Northern Scotland to Somerset. Very easy access to M6 motorway. My wife & I were travelling to London to catch a plane home to New Zealand & wanted a hotel about halfway & close to the motorway, the Holiday Inn Preston was perfect in both ways. I thought the hotel was excellent, staff more than helpful and the bedroom very clean. The breakfast was more than adequate with a good variety of food. Overall excellent value for money. Relaxing base to visit the surrounding area. The lakes are only an hour away and Blackpool with the light not far away. Martin Mere Wetland centre good for a visit. Breakfast adequate. Location, most helpful and friendly staff, room, excellent standard of presentation, good, large car park and overall impression of being vastly better than you would normally expect. Everything! Room decor was up to date and the bathroom was superb. Shower was great-not the usual trickle but a nice gush of water. Lovely breakfast with many choices. The room size and the large shower cubicle and easy to use shower.The pleasing décor. The smart/clean breakfast area and the good quality and quantity of the food on offer. Would have liked a proper wardrobe in room, and / or more storage for clothes. Shower gel ran out and took 2 days to replace despite us asking for more; the one member of staff who was a little surly noted down our request but it didn't get done. No major issues though. There is absolutely nothing i can write here other than my stay was only spoilt by my Wife's snoring! Arrrrrrgh!. No wardrobe. Don't like to see clothes hanging. Some children where making a nuisance of themselves on the corridor in the morning. My daughter did mention this to reception staff. The children also had access to a low roof top, which of course is very dangerous. Nothing :). Nothing!. Difficult to find even with Sat Nav as it's in an industrial/business complex and not signposted- a minor point. Drop your meal prices a little bit on the pricey side. There was some noise from the next door room but it was not intrusive. Poor selection for breakfast, very little choice. No dog "poo" bins. only staying 2 days! would love to have stayed all week!. No negatives for us, but this is mainly only a convenient location for car users. A bigger sign post after the motorway exit could be useful. Nothing else. NOTHING if used for one night. If longer the room needed a wardrobe and drawers. WiFi access not good (nit picking). Mattresses too soft for our comfort, so much so that we kept rolling into the middle of the bed. However, the staff arranged for another room with twin beds. Room 4 has a flimsy toilet seat/cover of the type sold in a pound shop. This spoils the whole ambience of a beautiful bathroom. Breakfast pastries are only served hot, where I would have preferred they were not heated. No bacon at breakfast and only one bitter beer on tap. Trivial isn't it?. Check in and check out was with the same receptionist - I think her name was Jessica and she might have been German. Highly efficient, but literally didn't crack a smile once, and at check out scarcely even made eye contact. Self service caffeteria-type breakfasts..the food was on the cold side. the bed was far too small for our liking and with the space in room an extra 6" would have been easy, mattress too soft and rolled us into middle. breakfast was disappointing as selection was odd, and self service. Certain guests felt that they owned the place so there was feet up on furniture and people spread all over chairs but the worst thing for us was ANIMALS in the hotel rooms and because of that we will never use you again. None. Not enough disabled parking spaces. No issues at all. Nothing at all, really. evening meals unappetising. I,m afraid for us the food, we didn,t feel the standard of the food was very high, more like packaged "slot machine" food. I have nothing detrimental to say. Second time free wifi didnt work. Nothing at all!. nothing to fault. The toasters. They don't toast, but create an appearance of toast until to take a bite and you realise its still bread. Its a very minor complaint, but would not prevent us from using this location again. Evening menu could do with a bit more choice otherwise everything is excellent. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Lack of space to "place" things such as toiletries and other small items. The mattress was very uncomfortable. As soon as my husband got into bed I rolled down into the middle of the bed. Never had this problem before!.
