We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots. In the morning fantastic Scottish breakfast was served, excellent guest house location and view! :) What was crucial for us - very convenient car park! Very good value for money!. Very nice and gentle staff. Place only a few minutes from the bus station and the centre of Portree. Nice view over the harbour. A small Co-op store in near. Together, we could solve the problem with the Internet-Problem ;-) Not solved was the problem with the corde for the ventilation inside the single room :-(.
所有评语 » We love the housekeeper. What a great welcome she gave us. At arrival she ran out to help and welcome us a thousand times. She gave us a warm and loving feeling. Location is great, maybe lucky for us with the view on the bay. Good breakfast as well!. Staff very friendly and helpful in sorting out booking when it had not come through from letsbookhotel.com. Good location, central but quiet. Location was beautiful. View from window over Portree was fantastic. Proximity to local shops and eateries was great! Friendly people. Clean, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, new bathroom, and located close to city center and restaurants. A friendly reception,excellent breakfast,clean and comfortable rooms and good weather ! What more could you want ?. My room was clean and comfortable if small. Bathroom tile seams may need little bit more cleaning with bleach, rest of it is fine! :). The view of the single room I had was against a wall on the north side. I would have liked a view over the harbour. But it was not really a problem because I was in the nature all the days... Too short of a stay :). Great place and must visit in the future again. TV could be bigger. Carrying suitcases up three flights of very narrow stairs. There was nothing not to like. Bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast very greasy and a bit basic. Nothing. TV was very small and the reception was very poor. As expected for price, cannot fault it. All was OK. Steps to third floor. Front door tricky to close quietly. Leaving on the Monday :(. nothing really. Maybe needed a little more choice at breakfast. The staff who prepared breakfast was not friendly. There were no staff-members on site overnight and the one member of staff appeared overworked and stressed as she had a lot to do in a short time. The rooms were not well insulated and noise from the other rooms was quite intrusive. Rooms were far too snug and breakfast food didn't reflect local produce at all. Potentially lively but there was a hint of penny pinching. Room very small n tight,We didn't like the beds , , they wher not comfy,ever time you turning over in the bed the mattress moved with you, I thout I was going to roll out the bed also the tv did nt have a signal most of the nite which became a pain,. Room was so tiny nowhere to put luggage,three floors up,curtains hanging of tracks,heater not fixed to wall,fell forward,carpets dirty,bathroom dirty, hair on the floor. Wifi advertised as in all areas,but told not on top floor have to go down to breakfast room,but better sitting on the steps near front door. Very tired needs a maintenance person. The price. Being informed on arrival of a double booking and then being charged an extra £5 for the room I booked on the website for £45. First time this has occurred on letsbookhotel.com. Breakfast basic as was the room. No one to welcome just a list of rooms and names. Wifi is very poor. Breakfast room and service was appalling. Smelly room and rude person serving. Very poor value for money. The owners are very rude and unhelpful.
