I really loved staying here! Val is such a nice host. There's an excellent breakfast with lots of varieties and you fill out a paper with what you want -excellent service (I recommend the scrambled eggs). On my last day I had to leave early and I got a lunchbag with cheese rolls, juice, yoghurts, fruits etc., which was just perfect. The city centre is like 7 minutes away and there's of cafes nearby. The bed is comfortable and the guest house is clean and neat -what more can you ask for? I wou.
所有评语 » In a beautiful location overlooking the bay and close to the centre of Oban we had a great visit. The owner recommended two excellent restaurants nearby where we had lovely seafood (and reserved them for us). The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and clean, and the breakfast was copious and well-prepared. Comfortable room with extras, for example a small fridge, sherry and glasses, good quality toiletries. Good quality ingredients in breakfast . Wonderful view over Oban harbour and beyond. Val is friendly and helpful. The level of comfort in the room and harbour/island views. The breakfast was very good - excellent choice, high quality produce used, very well cooked and excellent presentation. Knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Comfortable room with extra touches like a small fridge, bottle opener, sweets. Great breakfasts with good choice of menu. Wonderful view over Oban harbour and beyond. Friendly and helpful proprietors. We had a sea view room with breathtaking views. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The little touches, such as bathrobes, decanter of sherry and chilled water were fab. the friendliness of the owners, the clean surroundings. The breakfast was excellant, too much sometimes. You get good exercise when you climbed to the B & B. Huh!. Unfortunately it rained and there were string winds so our trip to the Islands was cancelled, but we got excellent recommendations for an alternate day out and really enjoyed our stay in Oban. The restricted parking, although we didn't have any trouble. Quite a steep walk up the hill but then most places in Oban are up a hill. Having to order breakfast the night before - whilst it meant service was fast, it's not always easy to know what you want before you go to bed!. Nothing - all good. The stairs could be a problem if you have mobility problems. Can't think of anything. Nothing. The fact I had nothing to moan about. Lovely outdoor decking but no bar.'Take out' early breakfast not too good. Disappointing that they found cooking poached eggs for breakfast too difficult. The five car parking spaces were inadequate for the total number of guests and too small for larger vehicles. Street parking was limited close by. The staff were rude and humiliating. The host didn´t say anything on first day, not even hello.When we asked for help, hostess wasn´t kind at all. The B & B has a free WiFi but the hostess told us a wrong password, when we came from 3rd floor downstair to as her to write it to the paper, the lady shouted that password is written in a room booklet. Told us to find a new accomodation. Man told we´re never wellcomed (first words) Never again.
