A very friendly clean place to stay. Our big double room overlooked their beautiful garden. The breakfast was the excellent with plenty of options. Chris and Christine are lovely proprietors and gave us details of where to visit. The woodlands is only a 5 min walk to the tunnels and 10 mins to the quay. A lovely place to stay!!. Had a great three days we were made to feel very welcome and had our room upgraded which was very nice. Breakfast was good with a good choice we had fish and poached eggs which was brilliant. I would recommend the Woodlands great walks right on the doorstep easy walk to town and beach. lovely host. Perfect!!!.

The friendly welcome and the excellent breakfasts. The quiet location and proximity (just a short walk) to the town. Comfortable beds and high standard of furnishing. Everything is as it should be in a b&b. Super clean, friendly, comfortable, location close enough to town but far enough to be peaceful. loved the cleaniness and the newness lovely and bright also a very quiet place to stay, staff are friendly and the breakfast was amazing. Every thing really the room was big and the bed sheets and towels were very clean. Food was good and the staff were very friendly. Very friendly owners, made us feel welcome immediately. But this is a minor quibble because it was as nicely furnished as the space allowed. ilfracombe was a bit of a let down, we found it very run down. N/A. Bed slightly small for 1.9m person. Curtains very thin and allowed a lot of light through in the morning. We asked to book in early in order to change for a wedding. We were asked for a £10 supplement which I declined. Nothing. For the money it's perfect. Nothing really. Nothing. sash window rattled all night so did not sleep very well. Nearly perfect. nothing.
