Gary and Marcia were absolutely lovely, and made us feel like house guests. Nothing was too much trouble and food was made freshly for us, with some divine scones for tea. The room was quaint as you would expect for an old farm house, but clean and pleasant, with a comfy bed. we would highly recommend Wellington Farm,we had a wonderful stay here and Gary and Marcia were the perfect hosts, very cosy clean and welcoming, hope to return in the future.Accomodation and food were excellent,ideal location for exploring Devon and Dorset.
所有评语 » The B&B was really lovely and very welcoming, extremely nice couple running the B&B, Delicious home made cream scones and tea. Plus good quality breakfast choices. Comfortable room and very clean. Would highly recommend. Marcy and Gary were fantastic hosts. They were very friendly and open and we felt as though we were staying in their house and not a b&b. Superb, my wife and I look forward to staying there again very soon. Very friendly welcoming couple. clean, comfortable room and good space for our two dogs. Breakfast excellent .. Would have liked to stay longer. Also ground floor suited us well. The place was beautiful and the owners were so lovely and helpful. They let us sleep in a little and made the most delicious breakfast. I would recommend this place to everyone!. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable. Had a lounge that you could relax in. Very friendly owners, beautiful setting, food was excellent. Would return if in the area again. Great value for the price we paid. The warm friendly welcome, the fact it was an English listed building, the cottage, exceeded my expectations ( I didn't have any). Nice clean hotel. Proprietors very friendly. Good stop over on our way to Cornwall. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Beautiful 1600's Cottage operated by a friendly and helpful couple. Ground floor room. Character property and a nice pub 200 yards away. The Proprietors, Gary & Marci, were gracious, friendly hosts and the rural setting was lovely. We liked our bedroom and en suite bathroom. Also being thatched it gave it charm and character. Loved the use of the lounge area. Excellent food and welcoming hosts. Good quality bedding. Warm, friendly welcome and atmosphere. It was local to the funeral we were attending. Breakfast good, especially bacon. Convenient for us as close to the venue for a wedding we were attending. Off road parking. Breakfast good. Owners friendly. The only thing was proximity to a busy road, which can't be helped unless they had triple glazing! Again, as other reviewer, less than perfect tv signal. However, the charm of this hotel and it's owners more than made up for it. nothing, everything was perfect. Nothing. No evening meal. Sorry I was only there for 2 nights would have lved to have been on holiday there!. nothing to dislike, booked house room with joint bathroom. but able to ugrade to chalet with ensuite. clean and tidy great location for a night or twos stay to discover the jurassic coast. Nothing. Bit dissappointed that our room wasnt cleaned or bed made up during our two night stay, not sure if it was an oversight or if that was normal for a short stay. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilties in room. Not enough loo roll but it was supplied swiftly when mentioned. Nothing sticks out. The traffic noise is a minor irritation. That we only stayed for one night!. The tables were too close together in the dinning room so you felt you didnt get alot of privacy. It was very close to the road so could be noisy at times. En suite shower room a bit tired. Needs towel rail and hooks for clothing. Proximity of room to main road and difficult exit from car park. Our room was very close to busy road traffic noise. TV no proper arial so poor picture and limited chanels. Exiting car park is a bit scarey due to traffic volume when we left. this is not a terrible B&B but one or two areas affect the overall experience. we reccomend this hotel but with this caveat. nothing. Sadly the rooms face the front of the house so there is traffic noise. nothing. There was a shower but no bath in the 'bathroom'. Lots of B&Bs seem to use bathroom when they mean shower room which I find a minor niggle. I prefer a bath and would rather know what I am booking in advance. Only issue was that it was hottest time of the year and by the main road which got quite busy at times...lovely location however. nothing. Too close to busy road. Low light levels in room and lounge - impossible for reading. No in-room tea-making - had to go to lounge area; just 1 chair in bedroom and it was too narrow for comfort!. Room very warm but impossible to have windows open as house is alongside very busy A35. Double bed small. We were very surprised and disappointed to find our travel coolbox, with perishable goods inside, switched off by the owners, as apparently customers cannot use their own appliances. Surely this should be made clear in the information available at time of booking and in the property itself. The hotel is situated right by the busy A35. All guest rooms face onto the road making it very difficult to sleep.
