We were greeted by the owners father on arrival, who filled us in on all the necessary information of the local village Hillsborough and how to get to Belfast. We then met David the owner, very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are beautifully furnished and there is a real home atmosphere, like your one of the family. Would have loved to stay longer and most definitely would return. We felt relaxed from the minute we got out of the car. At the B&B we were made very welcome, our room was ready and waiting for us. Food was v good. Surrounding areas and shops were good most of all people were v helpful and friendly, will definitely visit again.
所有评语 » The Human touch from David and his wife, their eagerness to make sure your stay with them would be a good one from the time you arrived at the door until you checked out,.this is our second time to book here and there will be a third no doubt about that. Nice young Farming Family with a very friendly feel to it. Nice 20 minute walk into super village with at least three excellent Restaurant/Bars, and the very interesting Hillsborough Castle and lovely gardens. The location is very convenient it's close to Belfast, yet set in quiet of the countryside. Nearby village offers an excellent seafood restaurant. The owners are very warm and helpful. We would like to thank David for making us feel very welcome and he made a lovely breakfast too. Our room was very clean and had a very comfortable bed. Staff were extremely friendly and my late check-in was not an issue. I would highly recommend this B&B and will stay there again. Really friendly owner, fantastic room and great breakfast. We have stayed a number of times .The owner was very understanding the last time when snow affected our plans. Very comfortable stay Well signposted which was helpful. We were even lucky with the famous Irish Weather!!. The lounge was very small if you wanted to use it to watch TV. Our room was at the front of the building and overlooked the car park area it had large patio doors that made us feel quite exposed. Borderline price - could be a bit less. Nothing really. the breakfast could have been a little more on the cooked side and they could have asked how you wanted your eggs you only got poached. Turned out to be a bit far from where activities I needed to attend were. This was my error in planning though. Nothing. Nothing. Breakfasts lacked choice. No area for guests to relax, other than one couch in amongst the breakfast tables! HP sauce bottles on tables lacks class. No space in bathroom to put anything like toiletries. Noise both from family above and hallway guests. No soap in shower. No sheet on bed. Untrue distance quoted to town.
