Palmerston Suites is almost brand new, so we had an extremely comfortable stay in what can only be described as one of the most comfortable and well presented inner city hotels we have been to, without it being overly expensive. Originally we were going to stay for one week, but the staff kindly helped us out and we extended our stay for 3 weeks through the Edinburgh Festival. The location is great for visiting almost everything in Edinburgh: The castle, the museums and the festival venues. The.
所有评语 » I thought this was a great place to stay and cannot believe that more people do not stay there. Our room was big enough for a sofa, we had a full bathroom including bath, with lots of space and a kitchen. We arrived early on the Saturday morning and having called ahead, arranged to leave our bags whilst we went into town. When we arrived, we waited for 5 minutes and our room was ready. The walk to Princes Street is less than 10 mins away. Fabulous stay - would recomment it to anyone!. I spent 5 days here with my young son while my house was being rennovated and I thought the room was very comfortable and well presented, and the kitchenette was more than adequate for cooking a proper evening meal for us, not just heating up a snack. Extremely well stocked in terms of utensils etc. I agree with other reviews that a table to sit at to eat would be a useful addition. The reception staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Great central location. Beautiful apartments - decor was lovely, room perfect with excellent bedding and bathroom so clean - in fact everything seemed brand new. Everything perfect and would highly recommend. Staff very helpful and our room was ready several hours early which was great, man at reception helped us up to room with luggage which was a nice touch. Would defiantely stay again!. Lovely studio apartment. just right for a quick business trip to Edinburgh. very clean, very comfortable, everything I needed (hot water, free wifi, tv, great shower, iron, hairdryer, kettle ) without looking for it, or hassle. even late entry arrangements were guest friendly and easy. Brand new hotel with very friendly stuff. Fast check in procedure and excellent facilities. About 10-15 minutes walk from the city center. Price was below the average! As a person who works in the hospitality industry i can genuinely recommend it. The bed was very comfortable with an amazing doona and great pillows. The room was compact but had everything we needed and was very clean. The kitchenette was a big plus. Location was perfect, walking distance to old town and train station. Great Place to stay. The hotel was really new and clean. The Smell of paint was still present. It was close to Haymarket station and the hotel staff was really friendly. The kitchen facility is very handy. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the city center. responsive staff. Rooms are cleaned every day. There is kitchen in the room. I loved the stay here, the customer service was exceptional, staff were very accommodating, the location was very central and the rooms were stunning. No lift, very high stairs if you live on the third floor. No dinning table in the room. Reception is closed during night hours (but it's apartment hotel) so pay attention to it. Nothing. My room being downstairs from the entrance made me felt strange a bit. And much as Heymarket is a decent neighborhood, people who have a short time to visit Edinburgh might as well prefer somewhere closer to the center. Nothing relevant Only remember it's not an hotel,. Nothing. Bathroom in my room (3) was very tight. Shower and toilet were inches apart and the mirror was on the opposite wall to the basin. The absence of a table to sit and have a take away meal. Whilst the kitchen had a microwave we were unable to bring takeaway and relax in the room. The only problem we had was the room we were given. It was room 16 on the third floor, and no lift. My husband is 62 and I am 59. I have arthritis in my feet and knees so climbing the stairs and coming down was difficult, my husband has knee problems. No questions on booking if we had mobility problems, you might want to consider adding this to your booking form. I have put a 'fair' rating for the facilities because of this. Not properly serviced and bed not well made. Electric shower played up and kitchen pots were not non stick, I burnt my porridge ! Apart from those niggles a great place . No food service. You have to go next door for food and their hours are very minimal. Bathroom was tiny. The toilet was pratically inside the shower. I think it was a room added on to the building afterwards. It was freezing in the bathroom. But it didnt really bother us that much in the end. Nothing to dislike. While the Luxury Suite was perfectly fine, it wasn't exactly luxurious, so perhaps Premium Suite would be a better term. Late or early arrivals should be aware that reception is not staffed after 7pm and before 9am; reaching out by email in advance is a good idea. No restaurant room was far too hot. We stayed on the first floor so you could hear what was going on in the lobby but really, not a big deal. Nothing. Even After 5 minutes the water in the shower was still icecold!. Nothing.
