Good value for being in a city. The premier inns are a budget chain, and that is what this place was. It was very clean, very simple. A bit spartan in its furnishings, but had the things that are needed. Delightful young lady on the front desk that handled questions about eating and internet. Biggest selling point for this hotel is the Beefeaters restaurant next door. Fantastic dinner, lots of food and very good price. Breakfast was there the next morning and they had a fantastic array of thing.

The housekeeping staff are excellent rooms are spotless and are only to happy to help reception staff are also very helpfull especially Janice whos warm smile and ever helpfullness made the entire stay a pleasure. Staff excellent, we had a 3 week old baby and our room was so hot we were moved and given extra fans for the room, didn't need to ask, they looked after us - and made my 3 year old feel welcome by bringing in toys for her to play with etc... excellent service. Newly refurbished. Very clean. Friendly. The beef eater restaurant was excellent, the food and service could not have been better. If you need to stay in East Kilbride for a night or two then you will not get an easier better value for money stay than here. We were visiting family in East Kilbride but also wanted to do some touring so the location was great. Walking distance to the EK shopping centre. Size and comfort of the room were both excellent. Food at the adjacent Beefeater was very good. Every single thing. The staff were amazing, the rooms were amazing, the food and service spectacular. Better than other budge hotels by a country mile. Really appreciated the fan in our room too. Employees were very helpful and pleasant to work with. Restaurant was very nice also. Staff was very pleasant. Lovely atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean and standards were very high. Friendly, informative staff. Extra towels etc. available if required. Convenient Crooked Lum was very good too. very pleasant and friendly staff. Friendly staff. They charge 3 GBP for 24 hours of internet, but I knew that when I made the reservation. Well worth it, as the internet was very fast. First 30 minutes is free, but I knew I would need more time. my stay was too short. lack of air con - but only as we stayed during 30 degree heat, not often needed in EK - minor. The surrounding buildings are like a ghost town but once you are onto the premier inn property this does not matter. Do not be put off by this. There were two of us staying in the room but they kept providing only one bath towel per day so we had to request another one. Only 30 minutes free WiFi per day and you have to register to be able to use it so we didn't even bother. Parking was sometimes hard to find if the restaurant was busy. They should have a set of spaces reserved just for hotel guest. Surrounding area was a bit dodgy. Nothing, it was perfect. NO phone in room to contact front desk. WIFI signal was very weak most of the time. Had to keep re-logging on and this was on paid time. Very, very aggravating. Suggest change from 30min to 1hr for free use. There was nothing we did not like about this hotel. Approach road was a bit off-putting, past boarded up buildings and unkempt litter-strewn verges. Breakfast service a bit slow. The entry road from main road dark and over grown, a poor advert for the hotel, shame as it lets down a good quality budget hotel. Bed was very uncomfortable. Could feel every spring in the.matress digging in to your body through the night. Worse sleep ive ever had. Really spoiled the whole experience. That breakfast was not included in the price. You advertised tv and wireless network and neither was working as a cable cut in road outside. Yet no refund offerred. We needed the internet connection for work so this was a problem for us!. Nothing. nothing. 4 in one room was a bit cramped but that was OK. no walk in shower. Shower curtain, although clean had a lingering damp odour which filled the whole room. Towels needed updated.
