This is an excellent B&B! Our room opened onto a patio with table and chairs, looking straight out to fields and countryside. The room beautifully decorated, light, modern and bright, and was like a mini-apartment with a small kitchen including sink, hob, microwave, fridge, and plenty of plates and cutlery to allow for takeaways. There were plenty of supplies for tea and coffee, and a jug of milk in the fridge (a step up from many hotels in this respect!). There is some traffic noise (ment.
所有评语 » Our room was very well fitted out - plenty of space and the added facilities of a kitchenette. It looked out over the meadow so the noise from the road was not a problem to us. We were very comfortable and delighted that we ended up staying here. This was not our first choice but we 'lucked out', as it happened. Our first choice 'The Old Rectory' in Tintern discovered a 'computer error' and therefore double booking about 10 days prior to our arrival. (We had booked two months earlier through. The welcome we received from Sarah who owns and runs the guest house was extremely warm and friendly and we felt very much at home throughout our stay. The room in the annex was large, attractive and well equipped with a small kitchen. The bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge were very much appreciated. Breakfast cooked to order by Sarah was amazing and should not be missed. Overall the experience was fabulous!. Sarah was a wonderful hostess. Very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast in relaxed surroundings. It was good to have more than just a kettle in the room, (fridge, microwave, toaster) so we could relax and have a light supper after having a big lunch at the races. And having fresh milk for drinks was a lovely touch. We cant wait to go back to Chepstow and Willowbrook Guesthouse. The host, Sarah, is fabulous! Nothing was too much trouble (thanks for the shampoo, conditioner, curling tongs and safety pins!!). The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfasts are huge! We were staying there for a wedding in nearby St Pierre 9taxi cost a fiver). Would definitely recommend Willowbrook to anyone and we will def be back! x. We were in Chepstow on a business trip, booked 3 rooms, all of which were very comfortable and had everything we needed. 2 of the rooms had kitchenettes, which would be great for families. All very clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again. Very pleasant host, easy parking and convenient for the town. fantastic host Sarah was so lovely it was like home from home my 3 yr old was welcomed with open arms breakfasts were substantial soft fruit option would be nice. view from breakfast room was lovely we had the family suite perfect for us with 2 children plenty of room to spread out. I stayed here for 1 night with a few friends the postion was within easy distance to Chepstow racecourse. I was very impressed with the location the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was superb. would definetly stay here again and would certainly recommend. Sarah and Steve were the best hosts. The room they let to us was spacious , clean and very well presented. We were able to visit lots of historical sites near this location and they provided a sensational breakfast for us also. Everything about Willowbrook is first class, this is the second time I have stayed here, and it was every bit as good as before, Sarah's welcome and hospitality is wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Sarah the host was very friendly, as we didn't know the area she gave us great advice on where to go and things to do, the guest information book in the rooms were very informative and were a great help. We liked everything. Our room was large with an enormous bed and views over meadows and a small stream. The host was very welcoming and breakfast excellent. We would certainly stay again. I booked this for my son and his girlfriend who both agreed this was a very comfortable and pleasant experience. The owner was very lovely and helpful and we would use the place again. This guesthouse was lovely and relaxing, we had a room with a patio and it was perfect as we had great weather to relax on the patio. Sarah and Steve are very welcoming. Lovely couple. It was nice being in the country with a stream running past the back lawn and cows in the field, all visible from our room. The pub across the road served excellent food. The facilities were exactly what I needed. It was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast wss excellent and Sarah the owner was very welcoming. It is a lovely, friendly place to stay with beautiful countryside views which can be enjoyed whilst having a superb breakfast. The weather, but Sarah had no control over that!!! :). I was a little misled by the pictures I thought the family room had a kitchenette like the double rooms did. we had a full size fridge and amenity tray for tea coffee. as a family it would have been helpful to have a microwave too. but loved it and will be staying here every time we visit relatives. Absolutely nothing!!!. Mirror over sink in bathroom too small, much too high! TV might be too small for anyone with poor eyesight. Very expensive. Dogs charged at £10.00 per night. Without breakfast it was £80 a night!. There was nothing not to like!. Nothing. Nothing to dislike. Nothing comes to mind. Some road noise during evening but died down at night. Nothing. Nothing not to like here :). Passing traffic can be a bit noisy. Nothing! No complaints at all. Nothing really. It is only a pity that Willowbrook is not nearer to Chepstow. A bit of traffic noise from the road. nothing. the location on a busy road. (I live in a cul de sac so am not used to traffic early in the morning.). A bit noisy from traffic, but the room was very well insulated. Not as big a problem as I had thought it might be when I first saw it. A little bit noisy because of the road nearby on the other side of the room, but this is not a problem. nothing. The bathroom needs to be upgrade otherwise everything was fine. Receiving an email the day before we arrived saying we needed to pay in cash as they charge extra if using a credit card. We queried this with the owner on arrival as there was no mention of this when we booked with you. The owner said she had requested letsbookhotel.com to add this to the Guesthouse description but it hasn't been done! Also we were unable to go on- line in our room. Small television otherwise fine. Website said free wifi but this was not available, nor was the card payment facility working so had to go to local garage to get cash which was a chargeable cashpoint. This wasn't really the owners fault as they had recently changed internet provider. Nothing. Road Noise - the room would benefit massively from the installation of secondary glazing. The Bathroom could do with refurbishment - especially the shower area. Bed was terribly uncomfortable.
