Friendly staff, I was leaving before Breakfast in the morning so couldnt stay, as I was checking out I was asked by one of the owners if I would like a Bacon Sandwich to take with me, fantastic customer service. Very welcoming and comfortable. Owner very amenable and attentive. Food excellent. Room very clean and comfy. Overall a really lovely break. Will recommend and return ourselves.
所有评语 » The Hosts were really charming, and the bedroom very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and my stay was very enjoyable. Would definitely go back again. Very friendly comfortable accommodation with eating for the evenings easily accessible. On site parking and very easy to access the Cardiff Flower Show. Traffic in Cathedral Rd can be a little disturbing. 3 rooms are on top floor- not suitable for less mobile. Shower space is small. Nothing. I personally didn't like sitting around one large dining table with other guests. I would rather have had a separate table, but acknowledge that there wasn't enough room to allow for this. It wouldn't put me off staying there again though and the rest of the party I was with (husband, mother and brother) do not share my dislike. Would like museli and smokes salmon to be available for breakfast please!. no problems. noisy at front of house with windows open.Traffic busy and pub/restaurany opposite. Might be difficult to haul luggage up & down stairs if elderly. It was far from the city centre (Cardiff castle was 20 minutes' walk from the guest house). There were no good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Only pubs. The welcome wasn't very warm. Nobody helped us with our luggage to our room. The bed was very very uncomfortable. For breakfast : there was only one big table for all the customers. It was supposed to be convivial but the other guests didn't greet us when we came in. Bed was lumpy and not comfortable - needs replacing Shower was cramped. If you are a rugby player size then try another hotel!!! Dust in a number of places which was not great. Rooms a bit small and decor tired. Shower cubicle in our room was extremely small, not enough room to spread your arms while washing and impossible to bend over in it so don't drop the soap!.
