I stayed here for four nights in mid April. Excellent value at £30 per night, especially in view of the superb full English breakfast (8.00 to 9.30). Very pleasant breakfast room, all tables immaculately laid,cereals, juices and toast, bay window overlooking street and a wall mounted flat screen tv for your early morning news fix. The landlord Phill, a Liverpudlian, is friendly and helpful. He helped me unload and load my car out in the street on arrival and departure, and when on the last day .
所有评语 » I stayed in the apartment which was great value for money - it appears to be a converted part of the building rather than a purpose built space, and because of this it isn't the highest quality, still it was clean and spacious enough for a 3-day stay. The staff are friendly (including Phil who might not be everyone's cup of tea)and the location was spot on for a Snowdon Trip. There was even parking right behind the building. Fabulous location on a quiet street in the historic district, only a few yards from the castle and sea. Basic but comfortable accommodation, friendly welcome, hot showers, unexpected extras ( including wifi which the site wrongly lists it as not having). I was also given a large 3 person room despite booking and paying for a single. Best price I could find in the area for a single. Free parking was available on the street. Was nervous after reading other posts. Phil was just like he'd been described but I think it is his way of adding humour. Sheets and bathroom towels beautiful. Paula very accommodating and breakfasts were great. Not peak season though. We enjoyed and so did the others who stayed at the same time as us. Friendly place. It is not a luxury place, but meets your needs. Paul the Owner was great and very cordial the location was terrific for the Castle and Marina/Shops.Yes the parking is difficult but we found places close by with no problems. The accomadation although slightly dated was fine and the breakfast very good. Although we had no problems Paul would have sorted them out for us. Comfortable, rather large room at very affordable rate near the Caernarfon town centre. Good breakfast and friendly service. I can recommend this B&B to those interested in staying overnight in Caernarfon while visiting the nearby castle and traveling south on Welsh Highland Railway. a very warm welcome on arrival, tidy rooms, very friendly indeed. a nice breakfast in the mornings, not big but enough to set you up for the day. oh & phil is a great entertainer with the young ones. we will be returning at some point. ;-). My husband and I stayed at this b -b and even if it was just basic hotel staff were friendly rooms are clean bed comfortable. And breakfast filling.we can not fault this hotel and we will stay again. Bedrooms very spacious and facilities all very clean. Wi fi in the room plus free view channels, also selection of books scattered around and films to watch. Phill was amenable, hardworking and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious and on time. My room was very comfortable - spacious and with a double bed, luxury!. Location was great, car parking at the local pub for free. Breakfast was great.. Only stayed one night but we had no problems. would stay again. The flexability and friendleness of Phil. He put himself out as we had an early start to complete the Etape Eryri on the Sunday morning. Very friendly staff; great location - so close to the castle; great recommendation for dinner in Black Boy Inn around the corner. Proximity to town and castle. First and foremost - Phil....amazing guy..very friendly....lots of parking spots...amazing breakfast..... Adequate facilities for my purpose (visiting Welsh Highland Railway) Comfortable room. Decor uninspiring. Originally booked double room but wife ill so had to cancel. They let me stay in same double room and reduced the price by a third. Very comfortable place , very friendly staff and owner ,helpful and kind. A good breakfast clean rooms. Basic room but comfortable. Overall a good stay. Will try and use again when in the area. very close the castle and town centre, quiet street and some parking available in street for free. the location is great . Access down narrow one way street with little chance of parking just outside unless you are very lucky. (However very little traffic, so you can park outside long enough to unload your gear. The landlord will help). No comfortable chair in the room. Not the greatest decor, but that really shouldn't bother people. Owner is a touch eccentric but that's exactly what you should expect at a British B&B. Smelly Donna so rotated and it was fine. No Wi-Fi for guest use. lack of parking, but was lucky to find a spot on the road near the hotel. Nothing. None it was all good for the price. Parking is outside on the street - it's a bit of a gamble how close you get to the hotel, but I never had more than 20 metres to walk. Am I being picky if I say the windows need a bit of a clean in the bedroom. Lack of parking. My room did not have en suite, but shared facilities were good. Nothing really. There is parking but it was busy so had to park further away. If a bit of money was spent giving the place a face lift and making the showers produce some power this place would be perfect. Parking not the easiest but don't be put off. Difficult to park. parking could be better. n/a. No wifi. There was no brown toast the first day but we asked for it for the second day and Phil bought some for us . The towels need to be a little thicker . limited en-suites. nothing. nothing. Had to point out to proprietor (a) insecure bedroom inside doorknob-came off when attempted to open door, (b) shower head adjuster clamp broken. Cooked breakfast was ok but food surrounded by pool of grease and baked been fluid. Handwash basin tiny.This was an 'en suite' room. Staff very rude when first met at property - swearing to female of group and complaining other person had put wrong sign on door and it was his day off, no bathroom or toilet in room, even thou I paid extra for. unable during our stay to have a full cooked breakfast as the cooker had been on fire so had to settle for scrambled egg and toast, no reduction on cost of stay. TV picture in room was continualy breaking up, annoying. There was an awful smell which I think was emanating from a blocked drain in the back yard (smelled like vomit) permeating our room and the corridor. Feels a bit tired and run down. Not as clean as it could have been. Room was tired. The first room I was given had empty beer cans in the rubbish bin and although the bed was made up it appeared to have make up or other marks on the sheets.Initially the second room was fine until the towels were changed for ones that smelt of vomit! I felt unable to complain again. Staff do not, the master of all makes. My room was fine but my fellow traveller's had a very lumpy bed. very basic- very poor facilities for cycle storage( a small backyard with overflowing smelly open drain) - breakfast very greasy. guest house was dirty with an old mouldy spoon left in the dish washer and not up to standard that was expected. owner did not know we even booked through letsbookhotel.com which caused excess time to sort and was not his fault. The host was incredibly rude and made me feel safe and uncomfortable. The bed mattress was very poor with prominent springs. Tea cups were dirty. Toilet roll holder and towel rail near sink were both very poorly repaired. Parking in the one-way street is a nightmare and hard to find. the room was barely adequate in size for its facilities.
