Superb hotel. Stayed 1 night on a business trip, rooms spotlessly clean, hotel obviously has just been refurbished as everything is brand new. Location is very central, close to business district and shopping. Staff very friendly, breakfast had a good selection. Enjoyed my stay, would definitely book again. The location was ideal, couple of minutes to the main nightlife area and the beautiful Brindley place, and less than 5 minutes to the Victoria Sq and main shopping street. The staff was very professional, welcoming and amiable. Room very comfortable and a lovely breakfast included in the price.

The hotel was very modern, staff helpful, and was situated in a good location for those who wish to experience Birmingham's excellent nightlife. Location was close to good restaurants and close enough to the main shopping mall. Staff were very courteous and friendly. I loved the spacious room, and the cleanliness of the whole building. All of the Staff were friendly and welcoming. hotel fantastic and staff friendly and helpful.rooms very clean and comfortable and great breakfast. I really liked hiw clean the room was and how you was able 2 help yourself to food an pay nxt day!. Room was comfortable - you could adjust the level of heating and the bathroom was excellent. Friendly staff, Clean, comfortable, economical, had everything I wanted in a good location. Nice and subtle change from the Holiday Inn Express, keeping the character of the place. No fridge in the room. Takeaway or room service menu was limited. Buffet breakfast was the same menu all week long. We were told Breakfast was served until 11am. We got there at 10.15am, most of the food had run out, and we were told that was all that was left and they wouldn't be bringing any more out. So I was left with 2 toast and 2 sausages. Wasn't properly informed on certain things, such as the £25 deposit, and how to use the room cards!. No dining restaurant. Would have been nice to have a bed side table on both sides of each bed, but that's a minor thing... Thanks for a lovely stay. Breakfast was a little poor and tables not cleared away very quickly but for the money couldnt really complain. Nothing really. 1 small packet of mini jelly babies containing 6 sweets, between 2 of us was an insult. Nothing left in he room is nicer than that!. We arrived at breakfast and most of the hot food had gone and was not replenished during the last hour of breakfast being served. It was a weekend so I feel the staff should have been more prepared for people arriving later for breakfast. deposit. the lifts the sounded ropey. lifts very busy on check out day... no cooked breakfast.. no proper bar... The stay was spoilt by lousy instant coffee and dry floury croissants served for breakfast. Ran out of baked beans!. A bit more choice on breakfast. Currently going through a re-furb, but they did try to keep disruption to a minimum. Breakfast only average. Breakfast was a little limited. Breakfast was not too good. Dry croissants. Parking ticket next morning. N/A. breakfast very poor. Lack of facilities or room upbgrade. Stayed here in September and in one of the recently refurbished rooms. This time was just plain décor bed seemed a lot harder and not comfortable at all. Breakfast standards have certainly slipped. No hot food any more and okay if you like bread...sliced bread, bread rolls and pastries. Had to try and find staff in restaurant. Half of the coffee machine and juice machine out of order. Would have recommended it before would not now and would not stay here again.
