Arden House is situated in Kingussie and is surrounded by the Cairngorm and Monadhliath mountains.
Built in 1870 Arden House is a lovely example of a Scottish Victorian Villa, which retains many period features.
Set is its own grounds the house offers a large garden which guests are welcome to use. All our bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are all decorated to a very high standard, for those cold winter nights we have a lovely open fire in our lounge for all to enjoy.

The location, the frendliness of the staff and their willingness to help when we had any problems such as where to go in the town to eat and when we needed a vase for some flowers etc, everything was perfect for our weekend getaway and we look forward to coming back in the summer!. We got the 4 person suite and the room was decent size but the bathroom was huge and very nice. Also the breakfast was very nice...所有 评语 »
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for us. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Very warm welcome, delightful owners,lovely comfortable room,excellent breakfast. great place. very friendly and helpful people. comfortable rooms and very lovely people. Friendly Atmosphere Homely environment. The staff were very friendly and helpfull, the food was great, and was only a short drive from the cairngorm mountains. The hotel was a real home from home.Friendly family run establishment in a great area. Clean and tidy with proprietors on hand if required. Breakfast was excellent, and the couple running the guest house were really lovely people.friendly, helpful and informative hosts resulting in a homely but professional atmos[here. Friendly owners who provided great service.Excellent food and comfortable rooms. Comfort and Cleanliness. Lovely quiet guest house which was comfortable and clean, with very friendly welcoming owners We were worried that our 2 year old daughter would be too noisy for a nice quiet place but the owners were very understanding and made us feel at ease. Views from hotel and room. my only criticism would be that my shower at its warmest was a bit on the cold side, although refreshing. The brochure stated that yhere was a licensed bar on the premises, There is not. The owner said they took over the property 2 years ago and had not updated the brochures.It would have been nice to sit in a lounge and have a quiet drink without having to go out again. Disappointed that there was no evening meal but it does state that it has to be booked in advance. We were offered 10% discount at 2 other establishments.Couldn't dry the towels. having booked a smoking room and a four poster bed, did not get either. Bathroom a bit small. The room was very very cold, even with the extra heater we asked for,the shower gave on a paltry low water flow, and the advertised "tv anddvd" was about a 8" portabel crammed into a corner. Not what I woulddescribe as a "family room" - ok it was big but we had to take our babyinto bed with us as it was so cold.Food was poor and not good value for money. The welcome was poor.
