The location is ideal for the Birkenhead-Belfast ferry ( 5 mins). Also the Mersey tunnel. It is also directly opposite the train station into Liverpool. The hotel itself is an old building but i found it very clean with very helpful staff from reception to dining room. The food was very good,both evening dinner and a hearty breakfast. There is an elevator to all floors which is a great help as i use a cane. In summery a very good value for money.
所有评语 » EXcellent location, it is opposite Birkenhead Central station; I left a laptop charger in our room and the staff were very helpful when I wanted to recover it. Very convenient for the Mersey ferry and wartime German U-boat museum. Staff on reception very helpful and accomodating on room requets. Breakfast lovely and fresh , central location handy for train to liverpool , despite hotel decor needing updated room 101 very clean and comfortable. everything was good breakfast really very good room excellent size plenty of drinks in the room great bar great location for bus and train to Liverpool very close to the Birkenhead tunnel. Very kind & helpful staff. Classic and old fashion accomodation, but very clean & comfortable. Free WiFi. 5 minutes by walk to Mersey metro station. Good location close to the Woodsite Ferry Terminal and Birkenhead Central Station. Good Value for Money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good location and excellent food both as breakfast and in particular in when it comes to meals. Staff very nice and extremely helpful. I thought the hotel had a lot of history and character and that the staff endeavoured to give a good service with integrity. Clean hotel spacious room for solo traveler, everything you needed was there breakfast lovely in the morning. staff were very professional and friendly. the room was clean and the tea facilities were good. super friendly staff good location bedroom was very clean we will stay in this hotel again. I liked all of it. It is located.right in front of the tube station. Even though it is in the other side of the river it is very easy and fast to reach. A return ticket costs 2.90 pounds and a day ticket, if I am not wrong, is 4.5 pound. We also had to catch a taxi in our way back from the cavern club. We paid 12 pounds for the ride. The rooms are ok. No luxury, budget hotel. But the breakfast was great and staff were sweet. food was fantastic 10 out of 10 there was good entertainment in the bar and it,s close to a large shopping area and train station is just across the road 5mins to liverpool. Basic Hotel although very tired and dated. Value for money at £48. Front rooms are overlooking busy road and are thus noisy. Friendly staff!. locatation. Noyhing. The hotel is situated on a roundabout and i had to leave my car at the door while i asked at the desk where the parking was. It was right at the rear of the hotel so this is not realy a dislike as it could be rectified by clarification on the brochure. ON the dearer side for us (a very mature -- well into our seventies couple ) maybe not for some folks. hotel decor needs updated. our room was the side to a busy road. Rooms are in need for renovation. Overpass leading to Mersey Tunnel is right outside the hotel which makes some rooms noisy during the night. Curtains do not keep the street lights out, which makes it hard to sleep at night. My room was bit noisy as overlooking the main street. I was there on a Saturday night though. Wifi connection for rooms was a bit dodgy, but excellent in lobby etc. Nothing really was a but dated but whst do u expect its cheap and cheerful. bed was just a little uncomfortable but I would go back and stay in this hotel anytime. Nothing. I had a problem with the shower. It was either too hot or too cold. Found it hard adjust it. There was a certain smell in the passage way which was abit irritating. I found a spider in the bathroom. It was the only problem.. decor is a little bit dated. Slight musty smell in room and corridors. Noisy people outside the Hotel at 0400!. poor decor and plumbing over priced for what you get!.
