my friend and i stayed overnight before leaving on a holiday. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were going to go into the airport for an evening meal but having looked at the menu we decided to stay in. Both of us enjoyed the food which was of a very good quality. The room we had booked was a twin room and was not at all cramped. I liked the futuristic 'pod' type bathroom, which looked as though it had only just been installed. As it was an airport hotel I thought the room rate was.
所有评语 » Good location, ideal base for our visit to the lg Arena to see Meatloaf. After the conceret, we were looking for somewhere to eat and were pleasantly surprised at what was available at the hotel at such a late time, 11:20pm. We were even more surprised at the quality of the food that was provided, really tasty and extremely well presented.....and also great value. The lager also....£3.10 A pint.....30p cheaper than my local! Getting to the lg Arena was alos a doddle tahnks to the monorail just . Great location. Just yards from the airport entrance yet no aircraft noise to disturbs one's sleep. Fastest check-in ever from a smiling, polite and efficient receptionist (much appreciated as we arrived at a late hour in snowy weather). The bed was extremely comfortable,the room was spotless,neatly furnished and had everything one needs for a short stay. All this at a great price. We have already booked in for our pre- flight stay in six weeks time!. The reception staff were really friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and very quiet considering it was right by the airport. We were staying at this hotel to be near the NEC and it proved to be great with the free shuttle service close by. We didnt need to drive anywhere as the train station is also close proximity. I will definately be staying hre again. Breakfast is really good value to. We always stay here ! At the airport,we drop off our suitcases and pick up our boarding cards at the 'day before' check in point.We can then just walk the few yards to the Ibis with just overnight hand luggage and go straight through to Security the next morning. Bliss!!! Add to that the great value, great beds and clean comfortable accomodation that the Ibis offers...why go anywhere else?. This was our second stay at this Hotel. It is a matter of yards from the airport and is so convenient. I have given it a good score as it delivered all that we needed/expected at a very budget freindly price. We had intended to stay there on our return but the price had rocketed as, at that time, there was a big exhibition at the NEC...so we stayed elsewhere. My disabled husband and i left the the hotel at 4.30am.in the snow the night porter helped us and carried our luggage right to the check in desk at the ryan air desk and even put them on the weigh in for us, We felt he went beyond and above the call of duty, we were very pleased at the service we received from him. Great location for the airport. So close to the runway and at the same time so quiet. I had a very early flight and decided to stay at the hotel and have a longer and more relaxing night instead of getting up at 3am and worrying about the taxi. It worked perfectly well for me. Will do this again. I did stay only one night but I was very happy with my choice. Clean bathroom and I am very allergic about it, comfortable bed and no noise at night. So when I woke up 4.30 am I was not tired and angry,very pleased with that. Very good location for travellers,just 1-2 min from the terminals. Being almost on airport front door, great for those early morning flights or late arrivals. Bathroom pods are so cool and super clean. Beds really comfy, great use of space in the room. No noise at all from outside. Excellent service, both checkin and food/bar. Excellent value for money. The position to the airport is perfect and so easy to access, the staff were friendly and amenable the food was excellent and the beds were super comfy and there is no noise considering the proximity to the airport, would highly recommend it to any traveler who needs an early start. We stayed here for less than 9 hours just to avoid travelling in the morning of an early flight. We booked a few weeks in advance so go a great price. Large comfortable beds, location - we had an early morning flight to catch, Surprisingly quiet for an airport hotel tho' I guess this depends a bit on noise from adjacent rooms. this hotel is everything you need for staying the night after a long trip have stayed here a few times for airport and also when on a weekend to go shopping love the bathroom its like a spaceship it makes me laugh everytime i use it. The ribs in the restaurant were surprisingly tasty. the friendliness and the service provided by staff are far beyond those expected at A busy airport hotel. they are always ready to assist in A very polite and friendly manner, the place is very clean and breakfast is superb. The twin room was excellent, comfy beds, no noise from outside, very clean and the shower was excellent too, enjoyed the tv. And considering we were at an air port, the hotel was sufficiently sound proofed that we weren't bothered by the noise of the planes. I liked new furniture, colours. Hotel room is clean and functional and it's only a 5minute walk from the airport. the bed was so comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean,2 minutes walk into the airport terminal, exactly what I wanted!. Car parking!!! This was the only downside.....as the Hotel does not have its own parking you have to use Car Park 3 opposite (Birmingham Airport), and the overnight charge was £22!!!....however as a hotel guest we got a discount so only £16..... Not much to not like ..it served our purpose really well. Nothing. It was all good. Nothing. Bed wasn't the most comfortable ever, but we weren't really in it long enough to care. Price - Ok for an airport hotel but the same facilities cost £39.99 in a Travel Lodge Its dangerous to reach on foot - across airport carparks / pick up points unless you know to walk all around the terminal buildings. there is nothing that i did not like good value. Nothing to be honest. hairdryer not working in our room, but luckily had taken my own. The guy who was working at the reception didn't give me a receipt about my payment, but next morning I've got it when I asked. N/A. Can't think of anything. Breakfast seemed a little pricey at £8 per person, so we gave that a miss but I am only saying that as we can't fault anything else!. There is no car park, you have to use the airport car park and pay, though you do get a discount from the hotel. It cost us £16 for ! night. Nothing. The bar area was very noisy and the wood floors in the bedroom could be noisy when people wore heels. Nothing. Liquid soap... night-time restaurant staff had little interest... none. Air con did not work however we did not report it and kept the window open instead. No bath, wanted a soak after being in the nec two days running. Wasn't keen on the portacabin type bathroom cubicle. Felt that at £118 for one night not inc breakfast, it was too expensive considering lack of 'proper' bathroom. At around £85 we would have stayed two nights possibly three. Nothing comes to mind. Nothing not to like. Exactly what we would have wanted from a budget airport hotel. nothing for £39 next to the airport which means an extra hrs sleep, no worries about taxis/ shuttles being late whats not to like. Nothing. N/A. Slow check-in, check-out process. Had to queue with 1 receptionist and 3 others at bar. I couldn't get into my room as the card wasn't working and it took 10 minutes just to get to the reception desk. Ridiculous I am also not a fan of the bathroom, felt like I was in a porto cabin. Pushing my case uphill next morning! Well I am 71 and that's not your fault!. Nothing. I felt that upon check out service was bad - no thankyou or much appreciation for our stay - did not get given bill from food / drinks. Nothing. The lack of signage from the airport, and the name of the hotel being difficult to see in the dark. A few arrows would be useful. Also, the dining area was too small for a hotel of this size, some diners being relegated to the tiny adjacent lounge area. Decor was a bit dated.
