Better than I expected it to be. Clean and neat, very well maintained for a hostel. Beds were quite comfortable. Shower room is very clean. The eco-friendly shower facility is rather interesting although a tad troublesome. Very reasonable charge for luggage storage after checkout (only £1.50 for a small group). But there are also lockers for individuals. I booked the double room and it was great. Young vibe, linen and towels, makeup area. Even a teamaker and coffee/tea. The inn is part of a bar - very nice to sit in for a dring or a meal. The stuff is very friendly and the location is right in the center. Basically I loved everything besided the shower facilities.
所有评语 » I did like the location, 5 mins from railway station, maybe a minute from abbey it can be very noisy at nigth time but you can get free ear plugs from the bar downstairs breakfast ok: jams on toast or cereals, tea, coffee you get 10% discount in the belushi bar downstairs. Very central location and friendly staff. Bath is a fun city and met fantastic people that were also travelling. The hostel was clean and had no problems. Good night stay and a small breakfast for relatively cheap prices. I would definitely go back. Very good location and value for money for backpackers not for drivers but parking place were quite close but expensive during the day from 8am. Friendly staffs and basic breakfast. Mixed shower rooms and toilets were not very comfortable. The Staff were fantastic, very friendly and obliging. The value of the accommodation was great, with a good breakfast spread to get you up and at-em. And the location was as central as you could get!. It was uncomplicated and extremely budget-friendly. In the very cheap price was even the breakfast included- amazing! The people in my room were nice and considerate. I could sleep very well. Very clean in all areas. Meals at the bar an added bonus as they were nice and a reasonable price. Showers that flow for 25 seconds each push of button is great. very central, staff kind and helpful, room and toilets quite clean. breakfast served in the pub underneath: tea, juice, cereals, honey, ham, toast. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is simple but very good. Really good value hostel, would highly recommend. The guy in the reception was very friendly and helpful. It was central, a good place for a bed for the night. Interesting renovation, very friendly staff and pretty much dead center in the city. bed was very cormfatable stuff was very friendly cheap location breakfast. Nice colourful equuipment; well communicated personal; in the city centre (good for city sightseeing); in hostel were people, who really should live there - paid for stay;. the sheets were clean and the lady that came to change the beds was nice,. Location. handy to all city sights. Nothing. Windows in the mixed dorm couldn't be opened so it was quite stuffy in addition to the hot weather outside. But it was bearable nonetheless. Typical continental breakfast. The shower was very uncomfortable. Can't adjust the stream direction, can't control the temprature. I have booked female room but was accomodated in mixed room :-(,. Can't complain about anything. Mixed showers and toilets. The showers are from above that your hair gets wet even if you don't want to wash it. The tubs of the sink need to be repaired. Having a shave was a bit ackward in the toilet / bathroom area. Hand basin tap with the push button wasted water when only a splash of water required to do whatever. as it's central it gets noisy in the night. there's a small common area on the last floor with a tv but i found it a bit depressing. WiFi broke down halfway through stay, thankfully the library across the way had a connection. I also disliked the lack of self catering facilities. A hot plate and a pan at the very least would have been nice. you hadn't individual lights shower was cold. Not enough sockets in the room! Very challenging to recharge my phone... Street noise throughout night. not en-suit room. Dishes for breakfast don't sem to be sanitized in a dishwasher but that is true for all of england. What up?. nothing good apart from location and price. a bit noisy, bed is not comfy, room and bed looks a bit not clean. you cant expect more for this price. Under-bed cage is very small ~ enough for maybe only a day-pack. Lack of power outlets in the rooms. Water saving shower has no temperature control. Rental fee for locks, luggage room, etc. no lift and so many steps if you live in room 5-8, hard for large case. Lots of noise from the street, the hostel is over a pub, my room seems to be over the door where drinkers cluster late into the night!. Toilets & showers were not clean. No serviettes at breakfast. Staff were foreign &/or had no knowledge of Bath history. *This hostel is at the absolute minimum - no kitchen or cooking facilites, only provide a small discount from their own bar and some random restaurants in the city. Shower facilities is also absolute minimum, with no control of water speed (too fast but too little time) and temperature. Room facilities is also absolute minimum, with only just 3 double-deck beds in the room with nothing else, and with no protection from street noise. it is not a warm place in March. Really noisy place - in city centre; showers were not every time in good condition; beds in 12 dormitory were much used;. the bathrooms were dirty the shower had low presure the taps had very low pressure the beds were creeky the room was VERY basic. Facilities Broken window Workers in our room Broken toaster at breakfast. very noisy crowded above pub on saturday not conducive for sleeping. If you want sleep do not go there. Overpriced for what you get. Lousy security. Small lockable cage under bed. Uncomfortable bunk beds. The list could go on. My advice is to stay well clear.
