The atmosphere was great during the evening meal and breakfast,the staff were friendly and helpful.the colours and the artwork were beautiful.The room was warm and cosy,just the right size for the three of us. I have a disability and found the room in the Annex with a wet room very easy to use and made my stay comfortable and safe from falls etc. It was also easy to have a healthy breakfast choice.
所有评语 » Staff in both hotel and restaurant very attentive (latter particularly at breakfast time). Location ideal for quick access to Anglesey and Gwynedd. The staff was wonderful. Irene was quite helpful and tried to resolve our concerns. The restaurant nearby was fabulous! Great food and service. Wonderful hotel from start to finish. Friendly efficient staff. Impeccable clean rooms. Big rooms. Bath, Satellite TV, Tea and coffee etc. the rooms are very clean and spacious. staff were friendly. Breakfast was great. would definately recommend to all. Special mention to Irene who was very helpfull and always did her best. Breakfast was nice. Handy to visit the Brecon Beacons. Attached restaurant and location. Good restaurant facility. There was a large section of polythene flapping around outside the window of the room. We were pre-warned of building work ongoing, and although noise wasn't a problem for us the car park tended to be a little muddy as new gardens were being laid. The heating in the room would not stay on, but they did offer to move us to another room. We were already settled in... Only point of any issue was that we arrived on Saturday evening and the only restaurant within eating distance is next door -"Table Table". The hotel receptionist managed to book us a table, but only just! It was very busy. I think that preference should be given to residents, but this needs to be explained on the booking form i.e. "If you want to eat here, then say so now". Building work but did not spoil the stay. No phone in room No free Wi-Fi after 30 minutes complimentary service. Bathroom sink soap dispenser didn't work. Reported it twice, never fixed! TableTable meal not brilliant! Ate elsewhere after first night. The friendliness of the pub staff was spoilt by the attitude of one certain waitress who ,when we voiced a friendly but critical opinion on the quality of the cold ham , failed to offer the opportunity to purchase coffee and the following evening when we returned with five additional guests failed to find a table for seven Badly let down her hardworking colleagues breakfast staff excellent. I wish there was hot-cold water mixer in the faucet of bathroom basin.... it helps a lot to have one. Hard beds. Some noise interference in corridors and from adjoining bathroom extractor fans. Wish the heating had been put on prior to arrival the room was cold. Parking difficulties due to gross misuse of disabled parking bays and apparently no attempt to stop it. there was nothing not to like. Nothing. Hard beds. No air conditioning !!. Noise from building work that I wasn't told about until I arrived not so brilliant. Free wifi was only 30mins. No room phone. room smelt damp. price was a bit extreme for one night. Nothing. The booking system by letsbookhotel.com alway got it wrong and the staff told us this what they do all the time. So don't book withg them. Pillows were rubbery. No choice. No refrigerator in room. Our family room wasn't ready on arrival. No halal food at the restaurant. No safe in the room. Various stains on carpet (one looked like sick!) smell of room - stale smells. Noisy bathroomfan in room 45.
