Excellent value for money. Room was small and basic but also clean and comfortable exactly what we needed. Restraunt and bar facilities have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Full Scottish breakfast served with tea or coffee was excellent and a massive portion. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Upon arrival staff were fantastic and through our two day stay. The hotel was spotless. Tea coffee facilities in room hairdryer soap ect. Food was lovely too at breakfast a brilliant choice full breakfast scrambled eggs with salmon ect Wot a choice. thankyou so much to all staff nothing was too much trouble.
所有评语 » The staff could not be faulted. They were extremely attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was also very good value for money, very good quality with large portions. The wine list was very good indeed for the type of establishment-short but very good quality. In short, we shall be back!. Great location, great food, and nice staff. We walked to a fabulous restaurant (Kilted Skirlie) with an view of the loch. There was a cute playground and an aquarium there too. We were given a room with a double bed in one room, and two single beds in the other. Perfect for our family. We were very pleasantly surprised to receive a suite of two rooms, when we had booked for a family room. Comfortable and very spacious. Food in the restaurant below was excellent. Central location next to railway station and opposite Sweeney's boat cruise stand. We had an amazing stay. The location is perfect (right next to the train station and the tourism office). The staff was kind and very helpful. The room was clean and confortable. The quality price ratio was impressive for us (15 pounds including breakfast). Very nice hotel; great location - right at the Loch Lomond: the boat trip and Tourist service just across the street; very good and versatile food; staff are very friendly and personal; spacious room, esp. bathroom, entire house is nicely designed;. Lovely small hotel in BALLOCH (not Alexandria which is not picturesque!)withbeautifulconservatory/restaurant/bar area and conveniently close to the "end of line" railway station so no noise. Staff were helpful and friendly and I enjoyed my stay. Hotel was old mixed with new, it was boutique, had lots of character with an upmarket ambience experience, staff very friendly and polite, great situ with easy access to loch, trains and much much more. Loved it,thanks for a great stay. Staff were excellent, even helping with luggage in and out which is normally 5-6 star stuff. Good meals, bar and breakfast. Ideally located for the main tourist loch cruising areas. Good car parking on site. Tullie inn is just right next to the station which was great. The room was very spacious and clean. Tullie Inn has a nice pub/restaurant and the staff is pleasant. The cooked breakfast was simply delicious. Huge too. We spent one night here on our way from Edinburgh to Glencoe. We had a family room (which had separate twin bedroom) with large bathroom. We found it clean, quiet and comfortable. Great breakfast and Great value. Great bargain, room was lovely bright and clean. Nice big bath and shower worked well. Breakfast was good and loved the quiz night half time cheese on toast. Staff were all friendly and hope to go back. good stop off for the highlands, very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, tartan carpet in room and a stag cushion on the bed, very homely rooms, I felt like I was staying at my grans (that's a good thing),. I thought the design of the public areas was excellent, and the bedrooms had had a makeover. The staff were extremely pleasant, and helped my two young Italian God-Daughters with their English. Spacious bar/restaurant facilities. Staff very friendly and efficient. Evening meal was excellent and served very speedily - about 10 mins from ordering. No complaints about breakfast either. The whole experience was fantastic the room was very large with a large separate bathroom and shower. The food was exceptional value and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. convenient stopover on way up north Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast very nice - good quality ingredients especially the haggis Fast internet and comfortable lounge. Room was massive and very comfy (was given family room which had 2 rooms, double and twin). Customer service was exceptional! Cheryl the manager made great customer connection, was pleasant at all times and made sure that we were well looked after. Staff very helpful. Perfect location to Loch Lomond right in the heart of Balloch. The decor in the public areas was lovely and the staff discreet and pleasant. Can't think of anything negative about or stay. Watch out for the spanish lager paid nine pounds fifty for two pints unbelievable. The mattresses not comfortable at all. It was very difficult to find fault with the Tullie Inn. Hallway was a little creaky and noisy at night when people would walk by. Double bed was a bit lumpy. Our room was facing the roof with air-conditioning equipment - very loud noise, also during the night. Bathroom was lovely with good power shower but bath very slow to fill - perhaps some attention is need to the hot water system. I didn't have enough time to stay another day. some of the breakfast was a little dry possibly from the day before: square sausage and tattie scone. No problems with the room and the staff were friendly and helpful but the service in restaurant was painfully slow even when restaurant began to clear. As room was so cheap I went prepared to not expect too much but was pleasantly surprised, there wasn't anything I didn't like. It was all good. If I had to pick a fault it is that the shower room was very small, but it was ok. The service in the restaurant is extremely slow, due I believe to the popularity of the Inn. However, it needs to improve. Twin room ok though en-suite rather small but served its purpose. Wouldn't like to have to paint the skirting boards!! One bed very squeaky. A chair would have been useful. Tv should be on wall bracket. It was windy so the windows in my room rattled. There was a quiz night which was quite noisy in my bedroom. The pillows felt a bit flat...but because staff were so lovely they compensated for these things. Nothing. Mattress on bed was very uncomfortable - springs dug in our backs all night poor night's sleep as a results. Toilet seat was loose and swivelled across to one side when used. Vey disconcerting. The only let-down to our stay was the entertainment. This was described as 80s and soul night, my era, but didn't recognise any of the music. A few classics throw in would have been nice. Could have done with bigger bars of soap. That we were all only staying one night and couldn't stay for more!. On arrival Tullie had no note of our booking. We were given a complimentary drink while they sorted this problem but as we were on our way to a wedding we could have done without the hassle. Staff were very professional in dealing with the problem which helped. Bit noisy at night, some loud banging on the thursday night stopped about midnight. But this did not affect our stay overall. No specific Clear reception area. food A bit pricey. Not enough time visiting. Would stay longer if could. Cleaning product smell in room, coffee, replaced towels aafter one night (not necessary). Nothing. Nothing. thought the price of a beer was slightly high .. but staff made up for it. Nothing. Being on the main road, traffic noise and also the noise of people until early hours of the morning. Our sleep was constantly disturbed. Did not sleep well in this establishment. Drinks very pricey. The rain. menu although good ,it did not present the full menu for perhaps a celebration dinner.
