It is wonderful place. Everything is perfect, the warmest host, nice swimming pool, peaceful yard as well as the terrace with a good view. Although the Selcuk is a small town and you can walk to everywhere, the location of the Akay hotel is very convenient and is close to the St. John Church. The host of the family inn, Atto (I hope I correctly spell out the name), is helpful and we become good friends within one day. He makes fresh juice for us, upgrade our room with a better one, kindly to dr.
所有评语 » The Staff. The owner was incredibly friendly. He drove us to Ephesus, the house of the Virgin Mary , the local hill-top village and the beach. He was a tremendous host. Unbelievable! The restaurant staff and room staff were delightful. The rooftop restaurant was magnificent and the food superb. All of this for an incredibly small price. Ephesus was unbelievable. An absolute eye opener. This hotel was an excellent base from which to see Ephesus and the local area. No wonder two of the other gues. Spaceous rooms wi̇th decent furnishings; great value for money. Excellent location- next to Isa Bey Mosque and St. John Basillica, and a short 2min walk into town. Staff always on desk- friendly and welcoming. beautifully designed resort, with taste and detail, flowers and plants, nice helpful staff, good communication, pretty area to relax around the pool, secluded from the street. It was a relaxed and comfortable place. Very accomodatıng staff. Also locatıon ıs good even tho ıt ıs on the edge of town; it ıs an easy walk to bus statıon. Friendly staff, good location near the Church of St. John, and an easy drive to the Archaeological site. I enjoyed the rooftop restaurant. Great staff, great pool. Great food at the restaurant. We really loved staying in selcuk And were happy to havé chosen this hotel. Great position with views from the very good breakfast terrace of the Selcuk ruins and near to Ephasis. Great for price. Had a table outside our room over looking the pool. The location was great--easy to find and so close to so many historical buildings and ruins. Also so close to town and restaurants and to Ephesus--the main destination. The vegetation within the courtyards were lovely!. Ria was very fair and helped us immediately with the problems we had. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Pool Close to Ephesus. Good location. You can have better than average food in the restaurant of hotel. Staff provide you pickup between the point of interest. It is very close to St. Jean's church. The breakfast was really good. And the pool was nice. They dropped me off at the top gate of Ephesus and picked me up afterwards for free. Nothing. Nothing. It was a the highlight of our trip. I was in room next to the reception/lounge so was sometimes kept awake by the noise (not until too late though). rooms very simple and small, could be attended a bit better/some facilities broken, no water kettle in the room. It was low season so restaurant was not open but they served breakfast. Just avoid talking to the iman in the mosque who will force you to buy a very expensive thing from his shop.... Breakfast poor. Food was subpar Right on street so kind of busy. Breakfast could be improved. nothing. Weather too cool to make use of pool. Staff does not really speak English. We made the mistake of reserving a "budget room" which meant the old, original side of the hotel. The other side by the pool seemed much nicer. mold in caulking in bathroom polyester bed covering needs some renovation, has a tired feeling about it breakfast was very poor quality. The utensils for our breakfast are not clean. The bathroom is too small. Internet was not working. à/C not working Loud Expensive for type of hotel. The room was needed to be fixed. Leaking water from shower and not working remote-controls. Pickup service were was so expensive.(more than taxi in Istanbul !) Some staff are too young and not professional. Owner of this hotel recommended me some place and the shop tried to sell with higher price than average. Several things in the room were broken. The wiring was dodgy and lightbulbs needed to be jiggled, air con controller had to be coaxed and only one pillow per bed was uncomfortable. The shower leaked and was tiny - I got bruises from the tap scrambling for my shampoo on the floor as there were no holders for bottles. My friend had a broken ankle and could not get into the shower to wash. The restaurant next door was overpriced and the waiter was a jerk.
