  We had a fantastic deal on the hotel through letsbookhotel.com, and paid 350 euro for four nights. When we got to the hotel, a sign said our room would have sold for 240/night! For the price, we were very pleased with our stay. The rooms were spacious and quite luxurious, with a comfortable bed and grand bathroom (including a fantastic shower). I had read complaints about a poor breakfa - The hotel is perfectly located in the European part but with Dolmus (6 euro) easy to go (direct) to the azian side. Opera is close to Taksim, where is the Hilton, Hiatt, .. all big famous hotels, BUT Opera (small scale) positions itself in the middle of all The room we stayed in is loung and extermely beautiful, view on Bosphurus, all windows. The area around the hotel is crammed with other hotels, small shops, restraunts for tourists.   The value and quality of our "apartment" was better than most of the best hotels we have stayed at around the world. We had the top floor with the balcony/patio overlooking the Sea of Marmara and our neighborhood. Very romantic and very beautiful.   The hotel is located in a small street of a populated area. It is not far from the old city (a 20 minutes’ walk along a main street but the street car stop is close). The lobby is not large but agreeable: a small reception desk, sofas, tables with books, a screen showing international flights arrivals and departures.
