We paid a little extra for our room to have the great view over more or less the whole re - My son and I enjoyed the environment of Capadoccia but would not have been able to do so without the help of the staff at Takaev who organised the balloon trip, tours, transfers and provided us with information about local sights and facilities. Staff were gentle in their approach, efficient in their delivery and had a wicked albeit understated sense of humour. I would have loved to take them with us for the rest of our tour. We stayed in ten hotels during our trip and this was by far our favorite and most memorable as well as - Les Maisons de Cappadoce are beautifully restored local cave houses. Our studio Les Chevres was overlooking Pigeon Valley where we could see great examples of the rock formations which are typical of Cappadocia. We had a guide for 2days, arranged by Jacques, and this was well worth it. Uchisar where Les Maisons are situated is quite a small town and much less commercialised than nearby Goreme.
