  We spent 4 nights at Adanos Konuk Evi in Avanos early October and occupied for 3 nights the Urgup apartment and the Zelve room for the last night. We had never stayed in a boutique hotel before and were delighted by our experience at Adanos Konuk Evi. The rooms are more like quiet apartments with all the comfort of a hotel. The hotel is well located and Avanos has the advantage of being less touristy than Goereme. An excellent starting point for exploring the region by foot or by vehicle.

Brea - My children and I stayed three nights. It's within walking distance of the bus station and about two kilometers from the Göreme Open Air Museum. The night and morning managers were the epitome of hospitality--answering questions, giving marvelous recommendations, offering apple tea and just overall being excellent hosts.
