  Apart from navigating through narrow uneven streets of Sultanahmet you can't ask anything more than what this hotel can offer. The reception desk was super helpful and informative. The room was very clean, decent sized considering it's in old city with spacious toilet/shower. We liked everything there: the friendly and very helpful staff; exquisite design of the hotel and our room in particular (wooden floors, comfortable and stylish furniture, spacious, cosy and clean room and bathroom); great location on a quiet street and at the same time in the vicinity of the main attractions and the sea;

  What makes up for the shortcomings of the hotel is the really friendly, helpful and nice staff. For the price, you really can't complain. Location is excellent as it is VERY close to the Hippodrome so it's easy to take short rests or a nap when u r tired of walking. Was there for 7 nights, and except for the 2 roomates that i had, who talked and smoked all night, there's nothing really i can say - Yakamoz guesthouse is a very special place: the building is not big but furnishings is in perfect turkish style, and the atmosphere is really hospitable. Our room, was very nice, everything was full of coulors and original. In particular, the owner of the guesthouse is a very good person, he's lovely, nice and hearty. The building is very close to the centre of istanbul, so close to blue mosque and santa sofia mosque and grand bazar. I advise this guesthouse to everyone!
