The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

days in the beginning of May, 3 days were hot, and 2 windy and rainy,
and it was equally comfortable in the room. We stayed in a standard
room: it is not big, but enough space for 2 people with a big suitcase.

Very good location: on the tram line that goes to the historical center
and not far from the funicular (the transportation mean) that goes to
Taksim comercial area. Next to the Bosphorus touristic port and
ferryboat that crosses to the Asian side. Friendly and dedicated staff.
Good breakfast. Good restaurant (for having also the other meals of the
day). Clean and properly maintained.

Me and my husband had an absolutely fantastic treat from the time we got to the hotel to the time we took off again. The atmosphere was super nice, quiet and comfortable and we felt at home from the very 1st second we entered the door where Emir welcomed us. We have stayed at Pera Capitol for 8 nights. The location of the hotel is great, only one minute from Istiklal Street, and three minutes from the Tunel, Nostalgic Tram stop and Sishane Metro Station. staff were very helpful, kind and prompt.
