  The history: Agatha Christie wrote her [Murder on the Orient Express] at this hotel. There is a small exhibition area on the fourth floor about this and other historic moments. The elevator from 1895 can still run (though not always in use). They sell postcards and other souvenirs about the hotel at the front desk. Really a piece of history! The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

  I think it is a new hotel designed so modern and chic. My arrive to hotel was so easy since it is located approximately 5 minutes from Ataturk airport. The building was so majestically designed. Outside was illuminated by blue leds that gives it being a modern aspect. Besides, foods were so delicious and menu of lobby was so diverse. My room was comfortable and everything for me wer - The hotel is modern and luxury, the available facilities are suitable for both families and business trips. The staffs are very polite and helpful.
