Upon arrival, we were greeted with very warm welcome. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. The room was on the small side but this is to be expected for the price and the amazing location. Breakfast was traditional turkish and fresh and tasty. During our stay it was my friends birthday and the staff surprised us with a bottle of wine and a tray of fruit. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough, as a foreigner who has both lived in Istanbul and stayed in.

They have helped us in everything that we needed, guiding with incredible patience and affection, they arranged the tours that we wanted to know. In addition my anniversary was within our stay and had a nice surprise with a delicious birthday cake and a small celebration, I love much, all arranged by. Very central location, walking distance of many places to see and close to metro and buses for ease of moving about the city. Taxis abound and are very reasonably priced. A huge variety of eating places all within easy walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly and ready to offer information to make your stay what you want it to be. If you're looking for bustling nightlife, you've got it close at hand, but not so close to keep you awake. This is the area frequented by locals and visitors al. Rooms very clean with all the facilities you can expect. The boss and guys working there are very helpfull and available 24/24. Classic turkish breakfast very good with some fruits, soup or eggs, salad, tomatoes, cheeses and tea. Location very central, a real plus for shopping or visiting. Close to many transportations, bars, shops and many other things. Internet connection (wifi) works good, sat tv and fridge in the room. Access ability was the prime.. So close to everything. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Very clean and good room service. Breakfast good inspite of lacking variety. Lane way was small but felt very safe. I walked around at 2 am and still dint feel difficult. Adjacent streets are filled with Pubs and clubs and mostly tourists filled them up. The staff are friendly and helpful - they go out of their way to keep you happy. They are happy to arrange airport transfers, tours and taxis. The location is close to the main shopping street in Taksim as well as all the restaurants and pubs. The room is clean and quiet with the window closed. It's a good hotel for safety wise all staff are very cooperative & taking care of the guests in a very nice way, breakfast is very tasty and chef is very kind.. small hotel with big hearts. I'll be back soon to Jakaranda hotel for sure.. Thank you Jakaranda hotel for everything... The staff were very friendly and helpfull and could not do enough to make our stay a relaxing and enjoyable one. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable and in a good position to enjoy Taxim and we would recommend it to our friends. The rooms were small but really nice and confortable. The bed was excellent! It was really clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast, although there was no buffet, was typical and fresh. The staff was really friendly and helpful. A very good hotel in a very close proximity to Istiklal Street, boasts rather big rooms with 3 (!) windows, a big-size bed, a small couch and roomy bathroom. The reception staff is very friendly, the breakfast is variable. Ideally situated for sightseeing, bars restaurants and shops. Hotel was very clean and comfortable and the Turkish breakfast were very good and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location and a lovely little hotel. Friendly staff, close to Taksim square, lots of shops nearby, tours and airport pickup, clean rooms, nice shower, no noise with windows closed and felt very welcome. Everything was great . The place, extremely clean, in a very central "sokak " Enough noise at night from music events and bars , but not annoying. Hotel is very well-located in Taksim area. Nothing, however due to being in the heart of Taksim, you should be aware the area is very lively at night on a weekend. The hotel had no negative aspects as far as we experienced - everything was perfect. Overall very good hotel and extremely super nice,helpful staff in its price range.Will surely stay again. Centralized heating or cooling.. So u cannot make a choice. Which is not a huge problem but expected that for the price. Bathrooms are very clean but the drains caused a bit of sewer smell at times . Only niggle is that the air-con only blows hot, even on the coolest setting. Opening the window was the answer. nothing. Although all were really helpful, some of the receptionists did not speak English very well so we had difficulties of communication. The air-conditioning worked only for heating, the safe didn't work. Everthing suited our needs. Breakfast was too poor. Everything was fantastic. This hotel is in the middle of a great city and an area known for night life, yes- it can be a bit noisy at night... but I can sleep through anything!. noisy outside. Area at night. Loud and full of bars. Shouting on street. too noisy. Annoying staff. Small rooms and you could not choose your own breakfast. Overall impression not good.
