I booked the place through recommendation of a friend for valentine. I was hoping for a cheap one night runaway and test my new car on the way. However into a very enjoyable weekend holiday. The hotel is new and so were all the furniture. It was clean and we had everything we needed. Breakfast, which is usually what matters the most for me for such short stays, was great. However, the real treat came from the owners, a young couple. They just helped us organize the dinner, wine testing and a ba.
所有评语 » I have travelled many places around Europe and Asia, but this was the first hotel that I actually become friends with the owners within the short three days stay. This is a home run small hotel with a lovely young couple managing it. It is well located at one side of the town which gave you fantastic view of the town. They were very helpful during my stay. Organized transport to and from the airport, provided ample information about the area. The best thing I like was to sit down with them and . We loved everything about this hotel. Location was great, hosts were amazing! Gave great recommendations of where to go and what to see. We stayed in the suite and it was amazing!!! Great fireplace and they gave us wood to burn. Great comfortable bed, nice jacuzzi, Internet worked great. So quiet and dark in the cave it was a really unique and special experience. Breakfast was great as well. We woke up early one morning to watch the hot air balloons take off and could literally see them from. That's my best 2 days in Turkey when I stayed in Gedik cave hotel. I arrived in Nevsehir airport late, the hotel manager help me booked the transport bus to pick me up and also help me to organize the green, red tour, hot balloon. That's all perfect. The hotel is in a quiet area which is quite near town center and have a perfect view. The room in cave is clean and all facilities are new. The manager and owner is the most friendly guys I have ever seen in Turkey. They such like your old friend . Everything! The owners were the friendliest people I have met during my entire 21 days trip around Europe. It was very obvious that their main priority is to help you have a really enjoyable trip. The room that we got was pretty warm despite it being a stone room and we told the owners. They don't have any fans with them and it was night time so we beared with the heat. Early next morning, they bought a fan and gave it to us. The breakfast was yummy and amazing, owners were amazing, location wa. Gedik Cave hotel was our most favourite hotel during our vacation in Turkey. The room was immaculate - very clean and well decorated. The hotel was nice and warm with heating in the room and hot showers. This hotel was also very close to the centre of town however the highlight of our stay at this hotel was the owners. They picked us up from the bus stop, were very welcoming, knowledgeable about what to see/do in Goreme and very very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hote. I liked everything about erdogan and his quaint little hotel. It is perfectly located in Goreme and is like many others nearby but what makes thi sone special is the owner cum manager erdogan . he really helped us out right fronm pick up at the kayseri airport to organising our tours ,to telling us nice shops to buy stuff from , to getting us a private taxi for a personal tour ... in fact he was our de facto manager for all our activitioes. really good couple and comfortable stay. We came to hike and view the local countryside and to experience the local culture. We had a charming room, tasty breakfasts, and attentive staff. But the best aspect of our Bed in experience was the personal attentiveness and generosity of our hosts. They showed us the best hikes and generously offered to haul us out to trailhead or pick us up, and their recommendations on trades people and restaurants were impeccable. I recommend Gedik without reservation. The Gedik Cave Hotel is the best place I have stayed in throughout my 12 day trip to Turkey. The owners are very friendly and gave us many suggestions on where to go and eat. Their room is super comfortable, so as their beds. Breakfast is also delicious and you can enjoy it with a great view. Location is only 5-10 minutes walk from the city centre. I would recommend Gedik Cave hotel to everyone and hope to stay there again if I am going to visit Cappadocia. Amazing couple runs the place. Brand new hotel, rooms are spotless with great terrace views of the valleys and give you a great feel for 'cave room' / 'cappadocian landscape'. All their recommendations for tours, restaurants and others are highly credible. The owner gave us a ride in his car to one of the museums and accommodated an early breakfast so we could catch our flights. Overall loved the experience, would definitely come here again. This hotel is awesome. The boss is vert helpful regarding the tourist info and give fairly recommendation. Although we didnt book the tour with them, the boss still very hospitality. Gedic is newly opened and very clean cave hotel. We had great experience and if u r going to stay in Goreme, Gedic is the number one choice. Since we took nite bus at the last day, the boss gave us free ride to the bus station with our luggage:). The staffs are very very friendly and super nice people. They helped us to plan all our trips and gave very good price for us. The pictures showed online are exactly the same as the reality. Rooms are clean, comfortable and tidy, especially the caves looked awesome!! The Turkish breakfasts are nutritious and healthy. It is located closely to town center, which is very convenient to have dinner and buy souvenirs. Staff was so extremely friendly, breakfast was great, staff was helpful in booking tours, they went over and above to make sure we were comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great location, could easily and safely walk to the town in less than 2 minutes. Very clean, and the staff even held our bags while we went on a day tour, then left in the evening. The location was very good. Close to restaurants, shops and bus station. View from hotel is amazing. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The owner dropped us to the bus station for free!! Lovely room full of character, would like to come back in winter so I can light the fire. Clean and comfortable room with great views from the terrace. Hot tub was added luxury after a days walking. Very friendly owners, helped out with a lift to the site and gave lots of helpful information. The staffs were very very friendly and super nice people. They helped us to plan all our trips and gave very good price for us. Rooms are clean, comfortable!!! mom satisfied with the bathroom especially because of Hot tub. Turkish breakfasts are nutritious and healthy. The location is good, easy to anywhere in the town. Everything~ The location of the hotel is great. The facility and decor of the rooms are good. And the hosts are so nice. We had nice chat and they gave me a lot of travel tips in the area and around. The hotel is like a home away from home. It definitely the best budget hotel among my stays during the two-month trip. Everything is perfect!!! The room is cave-style and clean, staffs are very helpful, can arrange daily schedules for guests. Breakfast is good and they serve free coffee and tea all day. I had to take overnight bus at 11pm, so I left my luggage there for free and the host even took me to the bus station. - Owner/manager friendly and incredibly helpful - Great base of operations for trip to Cappadocia - Great place for budget travelers - Excellent free breakfast - Internet connectivity was excellent (great wifi coverage and great speed for location - this made trip planning easier on multiple occasions). The cave hotel is fantastic and if you ask the owner for a local Turkish restaurant with homecooked food you should not go wrong. We could not believe our luck when we arrived for our stay. View of hot air balloons at 6.30am is well worth getting up for. Danielle is absolutely wonderful. She makes everything for you to feel at home! She helped us with everything, and she truely made us feel so happy. Breakfast is nice as well, rooms are absolutely lovely, and the view is unbelievable! Definetely a place we recmend to stay at!. One night we lost our way, he immediately drove to take us back to the hotel. During the tour he was also to drove us to the nearby attractions for free. He also drive us to the bus station. When we left. The room is very clean. It was cold when we arrived in Goreme,but we felt very warm when we entered the room.Bed was soft and quite comfortable.Breakfast is very yummy, all food was made by his wife, who is a very friendly person from Holland. it's one of the best hotel I've been tried ever! The stone is just amazing and very quite to sleep. nice place. actually all the hotel there are very closed. wont be too much different. without storge luggage before leaving. I guess the only thing unlikable was the fact that we were there for one night. I will definitely go back to the place and hope that the service won't be spoiled. It is a cave hotel so I wasn't expecting a room like a five star hotel room in London. However, room was very comfy and I was very happy during my stay. Everything was perfect!. Wifi may be slightly weak/non existent at some places. Best bet is to use it at the reception and have a chat with the owners at the same time! They're really knowledgeable and willing to share/help plan your stay!. nothing. Their shower drain seems a little slow, may need to fix it. No Air Conditioning in the rooms, in July, it was a tiny bit stuffy, but opening the door before we went to sleep solved the problem. nothing. None. - Room was a little damp, but it was a room in a cave... I think that's to be expected. Nothing. None. Will recommend friend to stay there. Leaving the hotel. nothing dislike. no complain at all!. Our stay was to short. Not able to find anything. Gedik seems quite new-newly renovated. So the smell of paint(maybe smell of thinner) was strong. We had to open the window whole day even at the night. But I think it will disappear as time goes by. I'm trying to find, but I'm lacking imagination!. Shower was supported by solar energy, so at night we could only have cold water..Hope that it can be improved!. Nothing!. The cave does not has a window.
