Railay Beach has so much to offer and was a beautiful location for our 5 night stay. Accessible only by boat from Krabi, the resort itself spans Railay East to West. West has a beautiful beach with a handful of luxury hotels, but go down Walking Street to Railay East or through the hotel grounds and you'll be in a contrasting location with lots of bars, shops and backpackers - great evening atmosphere. Cocktail boat opposite Viewpoint on East is lovely in the evening - we went most nights. .
所有评语 » We stayed at the hotel during the low season period, but it seamed to me there were many visitors from all over the world. A taxi from the modern and spacious and Changi-looking Krabi airport took us to the pier where for only 60 Baht per person we were delivered to the Eastern Railay beach. If you have heavy bags with unnecessary items - better leave them in the Left Luggage room of the Krabi airport (ground floor of Terminal 1 for only 50 Baht per bag per day). Otherwise you have a chance to . Perfect from word go, great pick up from Airport, so helpful even to the point of carrying the pushchair onto the boat with our Daughter fast asleep inside. Check in was quick & even though my request for a cot in the room was done it was rectified in minutes (must thank Don for his help) as for Privacy Cottage well just what is says Private. Had heard some bad reviews on the restaurant but must say it was great & the food was lovely & service was quick. The tour service office were. It was the third and last part of my trip to Asia. Really appreciated my stay at the hotel. A lovely trip and the hotel added more to the loveliness, so to speak. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the landscape was a great way to see Thailand, besides the city. The SPA was my high point there, the staff, especially Chong & On were spectacular in their massages. Will remember them for a really long time. A pleasure indeed. ALL THE BEST !!!. The hotel provided free wifi and the pool on the beachfront had breathtaking views of the bay. The resort reached from the east to west side of Railay and transportation from Krabi or the airport needed to be organized ahead of arrival. The location of the hotel was outstanding! Buffet breakfast was excellent as well as the pizza at the restaurant. The second pool provided more shade than the beachfront pool and the jacuzzi jets were working at that pool. We stayed here with another young couple for 4 nights. The hotel is in a beautiful location. The pool and restaurant both overlook the bay so have fantastic views. The breakfast is absolutely brilliant, and if you choose to eat at the restaurant for lunch and dinner too, you will not be disappointed. The rooms are huge and spotlessly clean. We could not fault this hotel at all. Good location and breakfast. Railay west side beach is in front of hotel and swimming area is delimited by floats so boats do not interfere. Hotel has a path connecting both west and east sides of Railay so it is easy to get to south Railay (via east) to enjoy Pranang beach (10 min walk) since it is not possible to swim in east side. Railay beach is a wonderful getaway destination, worth of visiting. Railay Bay Resort is a good choice, straight on the beach. It offers a good breakfast, the restaurant has a magnificent view of the sea and the beach. the rooms are big and clean, stuff very helpful. The resort is surrounded with the huge hills and jungle, stunning!. Staff were friendly, location fantastic and excellent breakfast buffet. We asked for interconnecting rooms as we were staying with kids and were pleased to get those and poolside. They also organised a complimentary birthday cake for my son and pickup from airport. Couldnt ask for more. This hotel is strategically located beachfront to West Railay, which is the gorgeous beach, and it goes all the way to East Railay, where the shops, bars, restaurants are located. The bedrooms are really nice and large. The bathrooms are large and modern, our room had a very nice balcony.. Though we only stay for a night, the overall experience was excellent. The location is just beside the beach so it is just 5 mins walk to view the beautiful railay beach especially during sunset. However the down side is that there are mosquitoes since it is just beside the beach. Rooms were spacious, nice pools, great views and lots of things to do nearby. Much nicer location than hotels on the East side. Restaurant food is ok. You can go rock climbing, kayaking, take a boat trip to go snorkelling or shopping in Aonang. The view of the West side of Railay is incredible. The reason you are paying the rates for Railay Bay are because it has the best location on the West side. Both pools are very nice, especially the one overlooking the water. The rooms were big. Loved the location. Good balance of amenities and value arrangement of resort is nice- on the beach but has a lot of foliage like the shaded back pool breakfast was very good very safe location and feel. Great for families. No loud partiers. The beach is paradise, the most beautiful I've ever enjoyed. The resort is incredibly peaceful and not in the slightes marred by the usual tourism aspects. The SPA attached to the hotel is pleasurable, professional and highly recommended. We liked the location, one of the very few resorts with a pool leading right out onto the west beach - the only one you can swim from. The accomodation, though a little dated, was adequate with all the facilities that were needed. Nice location, lots of things to do around the beach. lots of restaurants for food and hand out. Nice spa from hotel, staffs were all nice, massage was good especially for sun burn, they used iced towel, thumbs up. Constant flow of hotel workers all day long in front of the veranda of our cottage as there are some technical facilities behind the beach cottages. Of course they are very polite, but after a certain time the absence of privateness begins to irritate. No Russian language TV channel. Don't think it's anything the hotel can control but if you are prone to get bitten by mosquitoes then bring some repellant & spray (these can be bought on site) I get bitten everywhere I go but if your not used to it will be a pain. Our bathroom was satisfactory and in need of renovation. Water from the shower flooded the room each time it was used and the room looked tired and worn. I emailed the hotel a few times about organizing pick-up from the airport but they never responded to any of my emails so I arranged pick-up from the airport to the resort through Joy Travel an agency which had an office on Railay East. Either very hot or cold shower. I was not able to adjust temperature. Everything was just perfect. Nothing, perhaps smokers in the dining area were a bit off, but it is asia so cant really complain. Since our room was far from the reception, we didn´t get wi-fi in the room. One of the rooms we had smelled very stale. Beds were hard. Doors don't seal so there are mosquitos in the rooms. The amount of rubbish on the beach and in the water is disappointing. We did see staff raking up in the mornings. We all got food poisoning which I think was from a restaurant nearby, not the hotel. the prices are the restaurant and bar were ridiculously high, way more than virtually every other restaurant and bar in Railay. Food at the restaurant wasn't great. Lunch/dinner options were uninspiring. Stick to the thai food. Check in/check out procedures not managed well. Staff were overwhelmed and didn't have a system to handle the crowd. It has the technical amenities of 4-star but is really 3-star detailed. Eg towels were a bit worn, mattress was rock hard, but everything was clean, spacious and as described on their website. Transport from the mainland to the resort is by boat only. Arranging this yourself can be frustrating. For the same money as Bangkok airport, the airport to hotel/beach service is vastly superior and highly recommended. Rooms are bit old and were not ready when we check in. I asked for twin beds when booking but was given a king size. The kitchen moved to the back garden for 2 days (not a very good impression) Coakroach in the bedroom and on the beach restaurant but we are in Thaïland... very expensive. We were amazed that no one spoke English... 95% of the guests spoke English so you would think they'd at least try to accommodate their customers! We tried to learn as much Thai as possible but it wasn't nearly good enough... Some glitches uncorrected room during our stay, air conditioning fluid. while it was raining, water entered the shower. Also missing evening activities in particular at the hotel and at the bay also. The rooms/bungalows could be arranged better inside - our room didn't seem very cosy. Bathroom could be refreshed. Wifi can not cover everywhere in the hotel. You can only get the strong signal around the lobby. And so many mosquitoes in the room, hotel should prepare mosquito coil or something to keep off the mosquitoes. Bath can do with a little more work. We didn't know it's a boat ride coming in at night was a bit uncomfortable, the truck that picks up passengers didn't wait for us and the first room we got had power shut down every 2 min, we asked to switch rooms and then it was ok. the pillows were old, and the shower needed a door. Hotel was a little disorganised, everything ran on 'Thai time'. For anyone who doesn't realise, you can only access Railay Bay including all the hotels by boat so if you were to get there at an odd hour you may have trouble, luckily we didn't. Not extra clean Shuttle service is a rip off. Dedicated shuttle charged full price for two guests, we were 2 couples at the same time... Tips: Use local travel agency. Very poor connection to continent. Far overpriced assitance from hotel. Poor service in restaurant, overpriced, but food is good. Pictures in letsbookhotel.com are far from reality. Hotel itself is very expensive comparing quality you get. If you need to print few pages, they charege you 10 USD. Nothing. Price is a little steep, and it's not easy to reach, but I guess that is a necessary evil for a secluded experience. old facilities. Restaurant very slow and the western food was below standard. Ex:.a lady next to me ordered a cheese burger, and she got..a.cheese burger, but only with cheese. No beef. It's a very big resort and with a lot staff, so I was hoping that cleansiness will be much better. It was not clean all around the resor. I'm sure that they can do a better job with all that staff walking around . And be carefull going into the bathroom at night. You might meet a huge cockroach !!!. Very small pools Generally not too clean ambience, both in the cottages and outside. probably because it is almost a thoroughfare for non-residents at the hotel Staff stiff In short, a good location and immense possibilities not fully exploited. Needs a good restaurant Haphazard serving - meals arrive at different times A bit dilapidated - needs attention in certain areas with regard to buildings. 'Hot tub' was more of a cold water sunken bath. Restaurant food and service was unacceptably poor. The resort is a bit tired - needs some TLC. Housekeeping a bit hit and miss. Kept walking into platform around bed!. The "double bed" was actually 2 single beds near each other, which was very uncomfortable. Personal wasnt friendly enough. We came when was outflow of sea and we have to carry our luggage trought the mud and nobody help us with it. The shower was bad and the room smell bad.
