Fantastic location. Ridiculously close to the beach and at the begining of the strip so walking to the shopping areas was easy and leaving the busy strip behind when you wanted quiet was also a breeze. The staff was quick to help out when I made a booking error and are empowered to make decisions to help the customer. People need to understand that the cats are there to kill mice...you should be grateful and understand that this is not your home country and things are done differently.

The spa is clean n comfortable with the best therapists.it s worth for money.the staff there is friendly n helpful.they will provide anything u wish. The pool is big,clean n beautiful. The room is luxurious n clean.we miss Phuket n thara so much. Thanks for the hospitality. Hi we enjoyed staying at Thara Patong hotel during Sep 2013 , the room, facilities and location was great. The staff was very kindly & helpfull. 2 min walking from the beach,resturants & bars and in very quite place. Beautiful resort. The staff was very nice and friendly. Very good swimming pools. Excellent food options. Great location. The best foot massage I had during my 10 days in Thailand, was at Thara Patong. love the location, the room & toilet so clean, big beds & they gave my son a birthday cake....frontliners can communicate well & thanks to the nice Filipina front desk manager. Loved where the resort is situated - within walking distance to everything -shopping, restaurants, beach and Bangla Rd. The resort was quiet and the staff were great!. Almost everything-we extended our stay! The facilities are great, the swimming pools are massive, the location is perfect. The massage people were amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very close to the beach and shopping plus the night life, but enough away from all the noise. Nice hotel in great location. Walkable distance to most places & the pool is simply amazing!! Breakfast choice was mind blowing. This is the third time that I have stayed at Thara and each time it has the same excellent standared. Very good value for money. Quiet, spacious rooms overlooking the pools. Well equipped gym, great breakfast including fresh fruit, cereal and hot food. Loved the friendly attitude of every single member of staff that we encountered throughout our stay. Wifi was so nice. very close to Patong main road. and the staff was very kind. also the pool is very good and breakfast is nice. Everything was great and we went back there and stayed on the 1st of June for seven more days. The location, not too far from anywhere, but not in the noise at the same time. 2mins walk to beach, near shops/convenience stores and not noisy. A short walk to Bangla Street, beach and halal restaurants. Good cheap massage at gazebo in the garden. Location Room size and facilities. Location. Good Location. Very large and comfortable pool areas. nothing. There were doing minor pavement construction on the pathway to the pool and a jackhammer at 9:30am was a bit annoying but that was only one morning. Dinner service at the restaurant was a bit slow but great food and a fair price. The breakfast is not suitable for the muslims.shld nt serve pork publicly. Breakfast was good and fresh but some seafood or halal food should be added to the breakfast. we don't like the breakfast never change for 5 days.....i don't like the charging policy of the hotel: i booked the room for Php17,706.99 but they charge my card Php18,236.50 not a good thing to recommend. Breakfast was a little cold and very simple. Girl at reception was rude when we checked in. Nothing negative to say about Thara. Nothing. noisy. nothing. No chance to relax after B'fast, as staff were busy preparing for lunch, so no leeway for patrons to get even a coffee refill after end time. It was terribly noisy at night.there was a lot of music and entertainment behind our suites. The Jacuzzi in the main pools only worked for one day....? lack of maintenance. No water supplied in the gym. Rooms tired and outdated. Beds were hard. Breakfast can be improved. We had the same spread during our stay. The fitness center closed for renovation. Help from staff was poor. Faced problem while extending our stay, changing flight schedule, calling taxi for transfer to airport, taking luggage from room... Swimming pool should be open till 9 pm. Staff. i was double charged on credit card please help clarify. Made a booking on my credit card thinking it was only a reservation so we made the payment via another credit card upon checking out. Not good value for money. I do not consider this resort 4star - rather 3star. Rooms and public areas are NOT clean. Very unwelcoming staff. I saw a cat on the kitchen. The staff dont respect the customer. I asked for ash-tray the said will give me a (pepsi can) instead. Unclean place and non-helpfull at all. It was very bad experience.
