Laila's food and drink is owned by a Thai/Brit couple. They were extremely welcoming, fun to chat with and always happy to give advice on our trip (booking tuk tuks, local restaurants, general prices etc). They are a very relaxed couple, giving the place a really friendly ambience. Laila cooks brilliant authentic thai food at very generous prices and is able to whip out off menu requests too! 所有评语 » This guesthouse is the best thing about Hua Hin! We really didn't like the city, but this guesthouse made it all up! The rooms are very nice and clean, the front porch is a perfect place to hang out. Laila and Dave are extremly nice and caring, answering every question you have about Hua Hin. They even organised a driver for a day to get to the national park. You really feel at home here!. This geasthouse are the best in Hua Hin..the owners are soo nice in many ways,and the area are perfekt..you have the mountain near and many good resturants,many intresting places and people. You can choose if you want to take it easy or visit the funny wonderful barstreet....7 minutes to beach and 5 to city...i will say perfect..and i will give Dave and Laila all happiness.. We can only confirm the hosts are wonderful and make you feel like you are visiting friends. Very relaxed and always willing to help you make the most of your stay. Very convenient location, within walking distance to the railway station and close to the main points of interest. Probably best value for money hotel in Hua Hin. This guesthouse is well located on a quiet street. rooms are clean and comfortable. Beach, nightmarket, train station are not far (5/10 minutes walk). A small room but budget-friendly. nice location, not too far from beach , near bars and everything of interest in hua hin. nothing!. The room where we stayed was big but could use some renovation. Nothing if you consider the money you pay. Do not expect a boutique hotel... ;) Easy breakfast would be a great plus, but there are some places nearby... nothing. We missed that no breakfast was available, but can understand it with only 4 rooms. Hard to complain given the value proposition. The slippery shower/toilet floor is just treacherous but endemic to Thailand. we didn't like going away!. we really don't like the blankets in our room...... The blankets were clean but a bit old and didn't fit two persons. The rain. Having to leave after three weeks it felt like leaving home laila and dave greet people. Unfortunately, and contrary to previous comments, I have not chance to try Laila's food because she is not cooking anymore. got locked out 1 night there, had to bang on the reception door to get left back in, also got locked in as well!!, had to wait a bit to check out also, but its a guesthouse and not a hotel , so cannot complain too much.
