A+++++ Absolutely Fantastic! I will definitely go back and recommend it to all my friends. From before I even arrived here, they were super helpful and accommodating. I had to change my dates twice and asked a ton of questions. I always received quick and friendly responses. Upon arriving Jeremy and Dylan (who are younger French guys, that speak perfect English) were super friendly, always had a smile on their face and joked around all the time. What a pleasure! They are located a short taxi ri.
所有评语 » I liked everything!!! The staff, the location, the atmosphere, the design, the price! The cute twin puppies! The cleanliness also. The atmosphere particuarly is amazing, very relaxed but also revs up for the islands party nights and they throw in some of their own inbetween the big parties. The staff are always very friendly and willing to help with anything, they answer any question you might throw at them and are very useful for knowing more information about parties and things to do around . Short trip from the port to Baan Tai - and no up hill down hill windy biiiit scary roads to tackle! Which you get if you go further onto Haad Rin. Friendly greeting, I had requested to stay in the Villas which the upgrade was no problem - kindly gave us a lift over the road from the reception to the Villas. Stayed in a great size room, had fridge, double bed, lounge area and bath. Motorbike only 200baht which is good. From main reception beach is across the road, a nice pool and beach front res. - Sociale area 2 meet people - good restaurant - nice and helpfull staff - great pre-parties incl taxi - movies and sports on 2 beamers and tv in aircoroom of the reception - clean rooms - cutest dogs - Hard Road Beachbar is also nice ;) - really cheap Liked it so much, just want to take the hostel with me on me trip haha. The guys that run the place Chris and Om couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating! They were both very knowledgable about the island and recommended various great things to do! This place was 5* luxury for the small price I paid. Great atmosphere! Highly recommended for groups or solo travellers..!. This place is fantastic to stay at if you're up for partying at one if the moon parties, or just want to relax and read a book. The staff are excellent and getting everyone involved, whether it be pre-moon party, or playing beach volleyball, ping pong etc. This hostel is by far the best I've stayed. We stayed for 5 nights in the hard road villas, we shared a bungalow with 6 people. We really enjoyed our time at the villas. The room was spacious and clean, the ensuite bathroom was nice, we also enjoyed the swimming pool outside and the music gave the place a nice vibe. Everything was good about this hostel, its clean, has lots of facilities, staff are great, activities are encouraged, food is very good. They have their own bars and pools with projector screen for sports or movies. Hard Road Cafe is a very welcoming and friendly place to stay. The people, the vibe, the rooms are comfy and spacious. I originally booked to stay for 3 nights, but I extended my stay to 9 nights!. Stayed at the villas and a pool is always great. Liked starting the party nights in the bar at the café. The location is good close to Thongsala and on the road to Haad Rin. Nice place to meet other travelers before you head out to one of the many parties on the island. Staff is very helpful and the owner will beat you in table tennis anytime ;). Friendly staff! Good facilities. Cheap price. Very big beds in the woman dorms (14'), clean bedrooms, good a/c, great wifi connection, meet other people, hard road villa to use but 5 min walk. Atmosphere. This is a hard one because I really did like everything. I guess the only thing would be, for me, personally, because of my budget I would have liked the food on their menu to have been priced a little cheaper but there are quite a few different thai restaurants to choose from only a short distance from the hostel and they all serve delicious local food for around the equivelent of £1.50 so it really wasnt an issue. No 7-11 nearby! (And everyone loves them in Thailand). When we had issues with the reception computers and asked for help we were simply told "don't know what's wrong" even before having a look. Its fine not to be a tech whizz instead replace with common customer courtesy - so if it does turn out the comps on site aren't working, come out turn left and few meters up the road is an internet cafe. nothing!!. There's nothing that I didn't like. We had some friends staying at the hard road café, which is situated a bit further across the street. They didn‘t like it because the shared toilets and showers were very dirty. The only down side which isnt even a bad thing was the location, it slightly too far to walk to Thong sala, which is the closest town with shops, therefore you have to hire a bike or get a taxi. Perhaps the shower area could be improved and the toilets. The personal in the café can sometimes be a little "unfocused". Had a cockroach in my room but quickly removed by the cleaning women. It wasn't very busy when there's no fullmoon party. Staff cant understand you in restaurant, toilet shower only 2 for all to use (one was getting painted) and flash was not working alltime, music very load but lucky only from round 10 am till 10 pm. Showers.
