  The Hotell Valsaren is a good hotel and certainly a better choice than yet another budget chain hotel. But it's a quirky kind of place. Location is excellent, central in Västerås, yet close to the highway. The hotel is in a converted building in an industrial area. Staff is very friendly and open. Even in evening there is food for free (sandviches, tea, coffee, cookies, fruits). Rooms are rather big and comfortable (and clean).
