  Despite being declared as a "youth hostel", this is definitely more like a small simple hotel with private room and own bathroom. Very friendly and cozy with care taken to details. This, combined with the variety of bedrooms (we had two) makes for interest in a building with an interesting history.   Loved the staff- so kind and friendly. Loved our suite which was a separate little house in the back- perfect for our family of 5! The town is adorable- a great little relaxing break in the middle of a fast-past Scandinavian tour. - Friendly personnel. We arrived at 1am and left at 4am no problem at all.
