  An hotel with a terrific old-world atmosphere, maintaining it's British tea-plantation image. The bedrooms/bathrooms could probably do with a stylish makeover, but were certainly comfortable and spotless. The restaurant was stunning, with excellent dining, both at dinner and breakfast.   Set about 4km from the actual town centre of ne up a steep and winding part of the highway, this delightful hotel is a welcoming respite from a winding journey from Kandy. The hotel management greet you warmly and will provide a packed breakfast if like us, you need to leave early in the morning. Vege stands abound this area and you are surrounded by te - The location is great - far from the tourist traps and really quite from the hustle and bustle of the town. Very idyllic and the entire hotel is very clean. No tv in the room but there is one in the living area where you could enjoy a pot of tea and also make friends with other guests. The staff is very nice and attentive especially Mr. Glen De Silva. Really enjoyed our stay and we wished we could have stayed more.
