not so close to the center (10-15 mins), but the hotel is located in the front of the only beach of the city, which is very nice if you have a front sea room (to pay apart), which is very rare in lanzarote. Villa set in a nice quiet neighborhood. Outdoor pool & patio area very private. Villa well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 2 adults & 2 teenage girls (Nintendo Wii in Villa a great idea). Staff very helpful and prompt when dealing with any minor issues or queries. Villa about 20 minute walk to center of Playa Blanca (only €3 in Taxi). Having stayed before,i was familiar with the barcarola,but was surprised there was no air conditioning and pool was very cold.i asked at reception about the pool but told it was due to the wind that it was cold.the first week it was too cold to use pool. perhaps when weather is breezy and cool it may be the time to heat it to a comfortable level.

The location was excellent, we could not have had better. The grounds of the complex and pool area was very well kept and a nice environment to be in. The apartment was very comfortable, very clean with an excellent view of the sea. Overall the perfect place to stay.

I liked very much the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, in particular the male manager (can't remember his name) and Nicola who helped me when I need to find medical help at short notice.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Every member that you passed on a daily basis always had a smile and said hello. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. A nice bottle of red wine was waiting for me in my room as a welcome gift and every morning, a fresh bread roll would be left in a plastic bag hanging on my door. It is the little touches that make a difference. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, cutlery and plates and glasses.
